Would you like to try out the Designer Papers, Ribbons and Embellishments in the new Stampin’ Up! Spring Catalog? I have been offering product shares for a while now to help you see it all but not have to buy it all. You will get a sample of everything in the share. Then you’ll know what you really like and want to get more of without buying a full package to begin with. And with Sale-A-Bration right around the corner the shares this time will also include extra free Sale-A-Bration product samples too. All items are pictured in the Stampin’ Up! 2013 Spring Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure.

Let me show you how I turned the Petite Purse Big Shot die into a little manicure set. It was one of the wrapper swaps that I took to the Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference this year. And I gave them to my roommates as their little pillow gift too.
I actually had three different color combinations but forgot to take pictures of the others. One was Rich Razzleberry (purple accessories) and the other Raspberry Ripple (pink accessories). Each petite purse has a bottle of nail polish (the blue one actually has clear polish) and a mini manicure set.
Here are a few tips on how I created this little gem –
I cut the Petite Purse Big Shot Die from Pool Party card stock.
Cut the back panel again from a small piece of Pool Party card stock and emboss with the Big Shot using the Fancy Fan Folder – attach it to the back of the purse.
Cut the back with the flap out of Designer Paper – the paper here is Sycamore Street Designer paper
I glued the designer paper on the inside of the purse and flap and then bend the flap back – I actually used a tiny silver brad to attach it to the back of the purse – I didn’t want it to come loose.
I tied some Baker’s Twine through one of the Sycamore Street buttons and attached it to the purse using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
For the handle cut a piece of the Sycamore Street ribbon and glue it to the card stock handle from the die cut. This way you end up with a stiff handle. I attached each end to the sides of the purse with mini silver brads.
stamp a tag from the Pretty Petites stamp set and punch it out with the Petite Curly Label punch – punch a little hole and tie it to the handle with some Baker’s Twine.
I punched a little circle from the matching designer paper and added it to the top of the manicure set.
Tie a piece of ribbon around the nail polish bottle.
Super Cute! I wish I had pictures of the other ones too so you could see all the matching colors. These were part of a “candy” wrapper swap that I participated in at the Leadership Conference. Not everyone did candy ideas – I usually participate in two groups and do one with candy and one without. Come back again I’ll have the other one later this week.
Several of these products will be available during Sale-A-Bration starting Jan. 22nd. If you would like to have a Sale-A-Bration mini club with a couple of your friends check out the details on my website – these are going to be fun!
I made these cute little gifts for my friends at the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference. Decorated clothespins and a little paper treat bag. Cute and fun to make!
This is a great project that uses recycled paper – it’s the paper we get in our Stampin’ Up! Order boxes but you could use other brown paper. The paper is cut with the Petite Pocket Die and the Big Shot Die-cut Machine.
Here are some of the things I used to make this little treat –
stamp set – Flowering Flourishes – stamped in Summer Starfruit on the brown paper after it was cut
stamp set – Perfect Punches – stamped on Rich Razzleberry card stock
punch out with Curly Label punch
add a little Summer Starfruit flower punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack flower and a Silver Mini brad
cover the clothes pin with Sycamore Street Designer Series paper
add a button from the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button pack that has some Whisper White Baker’s Twine tied through it
Inside these sweet little pockets was a piece of chocolate. I gave these to my friends as I found them at the Leadership conference. I hope they all liked the sweet little treat. The Sycamore Street items will be available for free during Sale-A-Bration starting Jan. 22nd.
If you would like to buy any of these products you can shop at my online store on my website – www.monika.stampinup.net
We heard lots of exciting things at the Leadership Conference about all kinds of fun things that Stampin’ Up! has planned for this year. I’ll be sharing those throughout the week – some are already on my Facebook page – Stamping Together at Monika’s Place – so be sure to go like my page and you can see some of them there.
A couple of fun announcements today! A monthly kit and a kit for men!
Today at the Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference Bonnie Thurber announced a new Kit in the Mail program called Paper Pumpkin.
Every month you’ll get a cute little box that comes to your door with a fun stamping project. I think this is going to be such a fun idea and the perfect solution for many of you who can’t make it to a stamping class. And for anyone else that wants a fun project surprise every month! The kits will include the ink, the stamps, the card stock and accessories and it will all be pre-cut for you – just some adhesive is all you should need and perhaps a pair of paper snips. More details coming out on Monday – that is when you can start joining. But make sure you select me as your demonstrator when you join. More details are coming! And be sure to come to classes this month if you want to see the Welcome kit in real life – because everyone here at Leadership received the Paper Pumpkin Welcome Kit and Try It Kit (that’s another option for you too).

The other fun announcement is a new stamping kit for MEN! Check it out here –
And here are a few more pictures from today –
Lunch time at Leadership – a sit down table service lunch – very nice!
The STARZ group at the Pajama Party – Stamping Under the Stars General Session
I have a few pictures to share from Leadership – which hasn’t really started yet – Thursday was Check-in day and the Manager’s reception. And we did a service project packing tote bags with retired Stampin’ Up! products for teachers in the Orlando area. I also did a couple of swaps with the GoDiva group – a card swap and 3-d swap. Plus I ran into Shelli and got my picture with her – actually twice today – once at the service project and once at Harry Potter world. I’ll share more pictures later – I have the others to download from my camera still. These are the ones I got off of FB.

It’s Shelli and me!
I’m writing this Thursday night and it’s late and I’m tired. I’m not good with Roller Coaster rides, but I did want to try them out at Harry Potter world. I should have stopped after the first one. Note to self – don’t do those rides again. More later.
