I thought I would share my craft room with everyone. Greg made this room for me in 2001 long before I became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. Everyone that comes over loves my room so I thought I would share it with everyone else who can’t come by to see it in person. I have a few pictures – but I’ll add more when I get them.
My room is up stairs in the bonus room over the garage. Greg built a big table for me and it has two large shelves underneath for storage and has electricity wired in through two of the legs. Along the back wall are shelves – three and I have the clear shoe boxes on some of them. Books and magazines on some, stamps and other supplies on others. Just recently I cleared one section off to be my Big Shot shelf. There is enough room for 6 stools – 2 on each side and 1 on each end.
I just bought four new stools for the craft room – they are from IKEA – and have backs and a foot rest. I decided to add a Decor Elements flower to the back of each stool. Back in the corner of the picture is my card stock. I have a file cabinet on the bottom which has all my 8-1/2 x 11 card stock. I have a folder for each color. On top is a 12×12 organizer and I have those seperated by color families. On top of that is my ink organizer. Greg bought it for me one year for Christmas (on the advice of my sister-in-law). The link for where he got it from is in my sidebar. It holds the ink pad, the refill bottle and the marker. I have one color family on each side and then there are 3 more spots on each side that are filled with the current In-Colors and Neutrals. On the top I have my Stampin’ Around cartridges and some misc. stuff. There are also pegs for wheels so most of my standard wheels are on there too. It is on a turntable so I just turn it to what I need.
I have tons of punches and have two different storage areas for those. I don’t have a picture of both. But here is the latest – the bars from Ikea – I have two on this wall and two more on another wall and also some hanging storage that I found at Tuesday Morning one day. I’ll add a picture later.
The little shelves in this picture I found at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago. There are actually three of them. And each one has a drawer. The small embossing powder containers, stampin’ spots and my extra markers all fit in the drawers. My background stamps sit nicely on two of the shelves and I have a set of jars that are filled with ribbon scraps. The elephant stamp on the shelf is my first stamp and I hand carved it in school on year. Who knew that all these years later I would be stamping? The picture is my mom in the 1960s. I’m planning to put that one on a scrapbook page but I think I want to get a larger copy made.
That is what I have to show so far. I’ll add more later.
Happy Stamping!
