Today I have another scrapbook layout for you. This page was my May page for my Stamper’s Club. I don’t think I’ve shown the April page yet so I’ll have to do that one later this month. I’ve used the 2017-2019 In colors on this page. They are really the perfect set of colors for flowers and the title I used on this page is Beauty in Bloom. Don’t miss out on these beautiful colors – they are retiring! We can only hope in a few years they might bring some of them back. Definitely some of my personal favorites.
I shared this page on a Facebook Live this week. I showed how I used the Stamparatus for the stamping, a second page, and two alternate card ideas using the same supplies. You can view my May 6, 2019 FB live video HERE. Be sure to catch my next FB live video on Monday, May 13th.
Don’t miss this versatile stamp set – Jar of Love and the coordinating Everyday Jar dies. That is what I used for this page, the two page layout and my cards. And it is retiring! So are these colors and the Brushwork Alphabet that I used for the title. Everyone had the option to choose whatever title they wanted since the letters were individually stamped. We had a variety of spring & bloom titles. Watch the video to see how I set up a template and used the Stamparatus to stamp all the pieces.

I focused on a lot of retiring products when making this page. On last hurrah! So hurry and get them before they are gone for good – the 2017-2019 In Colors, the Jar of Love set and dies, the pearls, the embossing folder and even the Big Shot!
Here are the two alternate cards that my club could make using the same supplies.
The first card has the same stamping as the scrapbook page – I just added the greeting. For the second card I stamped directly on Crumb Cake card stock with the medium sized jar and the other little spray of greenery. Then added the words.
For my Facebook Live video I added a second page so it would be a two page spread.
I used the same supplies just stamped out the medium and small jars and then divided the flowers and leaves between the two of them.
Did you hear the news? The party just heated up with new, limited-time products that coordinate perfectly with select Sale-A-Bration products. What does that mean you might ask. Well for the first time Stampin’ Up! is releasing 4 sets of dies, a punch and a new stamp set all designed to coordinate with products from Sale-A-Bration that you can earn for free. These new products will only be available during the month of March while supplies last. Don’t wait – there won’t be more of them ordered so once they are gone they are gone. I’ll be sharing more in the coming days. Today I’m going to show you the new stamp set . But here is a full list of products that are coming.
More Than Words stamp set
Hop Around Framelits Dies
Lily Framelits Dies
Call Me Cupcake Thinlits Dies
Four Seasons Framelits Dies
Story Label Punch
Now that you had a look at the products that are coming March 1st. Let’s take a look at a project I made with the More Than Words stamp set. You can use this set by itself or pair it up with the other Sale-a-Bration sets to give you more options for them.
When you look at the stamp set it might be confusing to see the Wishes stamp and then see half of the word in another stamp. They are designed to layer together. I used my Stamparatus to line mine up perfectly and then I was able to stamp a whole stack of these cards. My base Wishes is stamped in Coastal Cabana ink and then the bottom layer is stamped in Bermuda Bay. It gives an ombre effect to the word Wishes.
Supply List

#100730 Whisper White Cardstock

#147051 Melon Mambo Classic Stampin’ Pad
#146276 Stamparatus
#146281 Candle Embellishments
The little silver candle embellishments finish it off. They are self-adhesive so super easy to add to this card. I’d consider this a #simplestamping card – stamps, ink and paper. Peel and stick embellishments don’t change how simple it is.
Gather your wish list and get ready to order on March 1st. I’ll be leaving the February Host code open for the first few days in March so you can continue to use that code. I send a little surprise in your thank you card when you do.
Summer is quickly coming to an end which hopefully means our temperatures will cool down. It’s been hot and in 10 days I’m going to be walking 30 miles for the Georgia 2 Day Breast Cancer Walk and really want the temps to cool down. It is not fun walking when its 90 degrees outside. By the way if you would like to donate to my walk you can sponsor me here on my walker fundraising page.
So did you have any amazing adventures this summer or maybe for fall break. The schools around here are on fall break this week and many of my neighbors are at the beach one more time. In my Stamper’s Club we have been making a scrapbook page every month and for September I created this fun Amazing Adventure Page for them.
I wonder what amazing adventure photos everyone will add to this page. What would you put on here? My summer adventure included a whale watching trip in Alaska and that’s likely what I will be adding to this page.

Here are a couple of close up photos of the details. The netting and seaweed are stamped on the white background.
I used my Stamparatus to stamp the Octupus. Creating a template and then blanks so that everyone could easily line up the stamping. I was able to ink and stamp a couple of times to make sure he was really dark. It was like an octo-puzzle!
I hope you have enjoyed the Product of the Week focus on the Rooted In Nature Bundle. Today’s card is the one I featured in my Facebook Live video on June 29, 2018. In the video I showed several tips on how to use the Stamparatus to create this card.
The Stamparatus works beautifully with the large background stamps. It’s easy to get full coverage from the stamp because of the precision placement that the Stamparatus offers. In the video you can also see how to get a partial background image. I share some tips with using grid paper – I just cut up used full size sheets into 7-1/4″ squares to fit in my Stamparatus. This card also uses the Nature’s Twine – which is a little too thick for me, so I untwisted it into three strands and just used one for the card. If you didn’t watch live on my FB Page you can watch it below on my YouTube link.
And here is the video. If you are reading this in an email you may need to click through to my blog or YouTube to see the video. And while you are there be sure to sign up for my YouTube channel so you know when I post a new one.

It won’t be too much longer before the new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog starts and the amazing new STAMPARATUS will be available for everyone! The Stamparatus is a must have tool for all stampers! One of the awesome features is that it allows you to perfectly align your stamp images and stamp multiples precisely. And because it can do that it means you can get the look of embossing from all 50 colors of Stampin’ Up! ink without having embossing powder in all those colors! Isn’t that amazing? Let’s take a look at this card I made with my Stamparatus.
To achieve the embossed look on this card I stamped my images in Early Espresso classic ink. I also used the step feature and stepped my plate over to stamp the image of the pens a second time – perfectly lined up across my card stock. Next I cleaned my stamp – leave it on the Stamparatus plate – the new Simply Shammy is perfect for clean up when using the Stamparatus. Now ink your stamp with VersaMark ink and stamp right over the original image. Cover with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set and now you have an Early Espresso Embossed image! Choose any color of ink from our 50 colors and paired with the VersaMark ink and Clear Embossing Powder you can get any color that you want! Here is a closer look.
I finished the pens by coloring them in with my Stampin’ Blends – also available in the new catalog. Previously released colors will be available June 1st and new colors will be available mid June. The Thank You greeting is also embossed the same way with the Early Espresso ink and then VersaMark and Clear Embossing Powder over the top. This would be nearly impossible to line up without the Stamparatus tool.

Do you stamp the back of your cards? If you have a personalized stamp then I’m sure you do. Did you know that if you sell your handmade cards you need to stamp the back with the Stampin’ Up! copyright? That’s called the Angel Policy. You can find out more about that here. Over the years Stampin’ Up! has had a variety of stamp sets that include the copyright. In the current catalog and upcoming catalog the Crafting Forever stamp set includes the copyright. In the upcoming catalog the Make a Difference stamp set has images for the Angel Policy.
I have been using an old personalized stamp and the copyright image from a stamp set called Better than Email. Both are photopolymer and I had them on a clear block and used them to stamp the back of my cards. The problem I had was I often stamped crooked (because I was in a hurry) or upside down (because I wasn’t paying attention)! So I decided to create a solution using my Stamparatus.
I mounted my two stamps on a piece of window sheet. Then I created myself a template from some grid paper where I drew out my cards in the sizes I mostly commonly use – one was vertical and one was horizontal. Using the template I can align my stamps in the correct position and then use washi tape to attach the window sheet to my plate. I did this so I didn’t have to keep attaching the stamps to my plate and get them lined up each time. Now I just pull out the window sheet and put it in position – ink and stamp and I’m done.
I’ve only been doing this a short time – I’ll have to see if it’s a permanent long term solution for me. What do you think?
