We have new 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Stacks. There is a stack for each of the In Color collections, and then one stack for each of our four core color collection. Remember the ever popular gingham checked paper from the Occasions catalog – well now you can get a gingham check in all 50 Stampin’ Up! colors because it is one of the new patterns in the paper stacks. On these cards though I used the script words design.
This is a square card – cut an 8-1/2″ square and then score one side at 4-1/4″ – giving you a 4-1/4″ square card. And just slip it into our regular medium envelope. I added strips of the Designer Series paper in the five new in colors. The Daisy Lane stamp set is the one I featured here – using both sizes of the daisies now that I have both punches.
See the little scallop edge under the greeting? That is a half piece of the scallop trim ribbon and I found the easiest way to attach it is with a bit of Tear & Tape.

I have some more In Color themed cards for you today. These two show the Seaside Spray and the Pretty Peacock colors. Of the five new colors these two are my favorite. And I’ve used the new Free as a Bird stamp set but without any of the birds. You can see this card and some others featuring the 2019-2021 In Colors on my Facebook live video from June 17th – HERE.
I love the new little scallop ribbon that comes in our new In Colors. On these cards I just attached it straight across my front layer. I used both the small and large flower images from the Free as a Bird stamp set to create the background. You can mount them both on one block and stamp at the same time – just turn the block as you go to make it more random.

Another card showcasing the brand new 2019-2021 Stampin’ Up! In Colors. This one is all about the dots. It’s a totally different look for this stamp set – do you know what it is? It’s the Waterfront Stamp set.
Make the dots in the different colors using the stamp – be sure to clean well in between colors. I normally start with the lightest color first and then finish with the darkest. So if I don’t do a good job cleaning I won’t stamp a really dark color into a really light pad. It’s normally not a problem but sometimes when you start working fast you never know what can happen. And for cards like this I tend to only open one color ink pad at a time since I’m using the one stamp over and over. It just cuts down on contaminating the ink pads. Finish the cards with a couple of punches and some twine. You could choose any of the five colors for the card base. I matched the starburst punch and the ink for the words to the card base.

I introduced the new In Colors on my Facebook Page in a live video on June 17th. My plans were to post them on my blog last week. It was one of the things I was going to work on when I went away for a crafting weekend in the mountains. Once I got up there I realized I didn’t take the photos. So no blog posts. I’m catching up this week. You can see all the cards in my live video – HERE.
So here is the first card I wanted to show you. It was an idea that one of the SU Artisan Design Team Members shared and I changed up the colors.
This card uses strips of card stock – Basic Black and then our five new In Colors – Rocco Rose, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray, Purple Posy. Try this with other colors too – or even strips of designer paper. So many possibilities with this idea.

Today is the day! A brand new catalog starts and a brand new set of In-Colors will make their debut. This past weekend I had my New Catalog Kickoff Party and part of the fun is having snacks. And I love to theme my snacks to represent our new In-Colors. Now in past years that hasn’t been too hard as we typically have several of the colors with names that reference food – Blueberry Bushel, Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove to name a few. But this year who ever came up with the names must have been on a diet – or just not hungry because not a single one has anything to do with food! So what was I going to do about my party snacks. Well I had to get creative!
Are you ready to meet the new In-Colors Represented in snacks! First off here are the five new colors:
And now to show you how I incorporated them into my party. First we have Rococo Rose Fruit Dip.
Next we have Terracotta Tile Vege Pots – this one was a favorite of everyone at the party.
Next is Pretty Peacock Twists. These are a perfect match!
I had Seaside Spray Sugar Cookies – I found blue iced cookies and I also had some pink ones.
And finally there was the Purple Posy Punch along with Purple Posy cups and napkins.
For each of the five colors I made a little flower in a small vase. Here are the supplies I used for those.
