The 2009-2010 Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog is now available to order from. I’ll be updating my blog with new links to the new catalog and Decor Elements next week after the holiday. But you can find all the new stuff on my Stampin’ Up! website – www.monika.stampinup.com.

I use this punch a lot – if you have been to my classes you will know. So if you don’t own this one yet it is a great time to get it – normally it is $15.95.

So sorry that I didn’t get a post out yesterday. It was a busy day and by the time I sat down last night to do it the internet was down. I’m not sure what the problem was but it was back this morning when I checked around 8:30. Yesterday was – tennis camp (Ryan), meet the new band director (Tyler), dentist appointments (all 3 boys), tennis match (Ryan). Ryan did end up winning the tennis match with his doubles partner Sam – it was mostly due to Sam that they won – but Ryan did have the final winning shot though.
Today I’ll show a sneak peek from the new catalog – if you spend time out there looking at blogs you may have already seen this set being used. The set is called Circle Circus and actually coordinates with the Decor Elements called Eclectic Circles that we already have. This is a 6×6 scrapbook page that we made at my downline meeting last week. It is a design from a 12″ x 12″ layout that Stampin’ Up! created and is shown in the new catalog. I just made it smaller. The title is the Stampin’ Up! Billboard alphabet Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die for the Big Shot. The colors I used are Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise. The title is Chocolate Chip. And the button is from the Button Latte Designer Button collection. I think this is going to be a fun set and it works with all the circle punches that we have. You’ll see more of this from me as it will be my featured set for the next Blog Tour – more information is in the right hand side bar.

One change that happened with the Spring-Summer 2009 Idea Book was that Stampin’ Up! removed the supply list from the back of the catalog to allow more room for product. This supply list was a great resource for all the samples that are shown in the catalog. When you find something on a page – just flip to the supply list and look it up by the page number. If there are multiple samples on a page they are listed A,B,C starting at the top of the page. I have added the supply list on my side bar under HELPFUL INFORMATION. It is a pdf file so you can open it and print it and put it in the back of your catalog or just come here whenever you want to look something up.

Something that I have loved about our current catalog and the last one is the addition of “Technique” pages. Scattered throughout both catalogs you can find step by step instructions on various techniques. Well guess what? Stampin’ Up! has added the same thing to the Sale-A-Bration brochure. They have included step-by-step instructions on the following:
