Did you know that the easiest way to qualify for a free Sale-A-Bration item is to order a 3-month Prepaid Paper Pumpkin Subscription? It’s on sale for $55 and you get one Sale-A-Bration item for free – like the Metallic Glitter Tape that I used on this card. And if you activate your code by April 10th then you’ll get the April Paper Pumpkin kit and guess what – it’s going to include a FREE bonus stamp set!!
Paper Pumpkin is celebrating its third birthday and ONE MILLIONTH KIT! To celebrate and to thank all the subscribers a special gift will be included in the April box. An exclusive stamp set call All About Everything! So don’t miss it – make sure your Paper Pumpkin account is active by April the 10th – if you have questions just ask me.
Now here is today’s card – I combine the Pocketful of Cheer stamp set from the March 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit and added a few supplies including the Metallic Glitter Tape.
The glitter tape comes in a 3-pack that includes Gold, Silver and white. And the white tape can be colored! I used a sponge dauber and my Silicone craft sheet and colored mine with Bermuda Bay ink.
I added it to the front of a Whisper White note card. Stamped a greeting (did you notice the Just for You is the same font as the Sale-A-Bration set Botanicals for You – just smaller!). Used a couple of punches and stamped some flowers. I thought it turned out adorable!!
Here is a full list of supplies that I used (except the March Paper Pumpkin kit isn’t listed) Print Recipe

The December Kit was a 2016 Calendar! It is so cute and the most popular kit yet. As soon as the refills were available for sale they sold out! If you are local to me and you want to make one of these cute calendars you are in luck – I have a limited number of kits available and will be having a little class this Sunday, January 10th to make them. See the information HERE and let me know if you want to come.
Once you are done with the month these would be perfect to add to a scrapbook – especially a Project Life Scrapbook. Each month could be the first card for that month’s pages.
With the left over pieces I had from my kit I decided to create a little note card by adding some Designer Paper. Here is how it turned out:
Here are the supplies that I added to the Paper Pumpkin One Great Year refill to create the notecard:
Don’t forget – order your prepaid subscription while it’s on sale. Update your account and join me for my class on Sunday if you missed this great 2016 Calendar in the December kit.
It’s almost time for Halloween and trick or treating! I finished up my September Paper Pumpkin kit and mailed those sweet treats off to my boys – well to the two that are out of state and have the other one here to be picked up. I included enough for them to give treats to their roommates too. Did you see these?
Last night was my Paper Pumpkin Craft night – a couple of the girls worked on the September kits and a couple of us worked on the new October Kits. I have everything stamped and was working on assembling the cards – I need to finish that up. If you are local to me and want to join us for a fun night out be sure to look for the next date on my calendar. I’ll be posting on my website and on Facebook.
Now here is a fun Halloween card for you –
This style card is fun to make – I’m not sure what to call it. I was calling it a window card but maybe it should be a peek-a-boo card since the inside peeks through to the front. Can you see the front of the card has a section cut out and that has been replaced with a piece of window sheet.
On the inside is the Designer Paper that peeks out. I added the BOO! cut from the Black Glimmer paper to the front of the window sheet. I used the Among the Branches bundle for this card. Embossing with the Woodlands Textured Embossing Folder – it is VERY POPULAR!!! And adding the little eyes peeking out among the branches. Yes I will admit when I first saw the stamp set and read the name it didn’t make much sense to me. About a day later I had that AHA! moment and realized why it was called that. The little elements from the stamp set go among the branches of the embossing folder.
The new Timeless Elegance Designer Paper in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog is really beautiful in person. The colors are Basic Black, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla – and the designs are elegant enough for a wedding and soft enough for a sympathy card. If you want to add a pop of color use a sponge and sponge over the designs in your desired color.
Here is a card that I created –
If you need something more masculine there are plenty of prints in the pack that work.
For this card I used Sahara Sand card stock, a square piece of the designer paper and the Sahara Sand Lace Ribbon – it is so soft and easy to use. Stamp a greeting on the bottom – here I used one from A Dozen Thoughts. Another stamp set that works perfect for this card is the Chalk it Up to Love Photopolymer set that came in the August Paper Pumpkin kit. The words and the swirls are perfect for this card too.
What a pretty stamp set from last months Paper Pumpkin Kit. Don’t forget today is the last day to get halfof – f your first two months of a new subscription – JOIN HERE.
