It ends on March 31st – that’s tomorrow! So there is just a little more than one day left to get your free sale-a-bration items or get an awesome deal on the Starter Kit.
Here is an idea using the What I Love stamp set – a beautiful two-step (or 3 step) photopolymer set.
Stamp the flower with the outline first in your darkest color. Then use the solid pieces in lighter colors. Each one adds a little more depth to the flower. Try different combinations of colors – 3 different shades. Or use one or two colors and stamp off to get lighter versions of the same color. What that means is if you ink you stamp and then stamp the image – that would be the darkest – full strength. If you stamped it again without reinking it would be lighter – the second generation. And you could do it a third time. So when switching images you use your scrap paper to stamp off to get to the generation that you want.
Thanks for stopping by!
I can’t believe Sale-A-Bration is almost over! And in two weeks I’ll be headed to Salt Lake City for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Live event (convention with a new name). I have so much to do!
Time is running out to get your free Sale-A-Bration items. Just 2 more days after today – March 31st is the last day. Shop – $50 in product = 1 free Sale-A-Bration item. Join – $155 in product of your choice for your starter kit for only $99 and free shipping! That’s the best deal!
Look at these cute cards made with the Flowering Fields stamp set and coordinating Wildflower Fields Designer Paper.
These are the White Note cards and Envelopes. A piece of the Designer paper cover the entire front of the note card and it’s also used to line the inside of each envelope!
After today there are only 3 more days of Sale-A-Bration! Thursday, March 31st will be the last day to get these items. One of the most popular ones is the Botanical For You stamp set. It has the big Just for You image along with some other phrases and flowers. It coordinates with the Botanical Blooms bundle of products in the Occasions Catalog.
This project was a make&take and the Spring 2016 Stamp, Scrap & Create Retreat.
Everyone at the retreat received the Enjoy the Little Things Project Kit. It is an awesome project designed to be a home decor project but it is so much more. You can also use the pieces in scrapbook pages or make cards with them. The box can be used to store the project or used to be given as a gift (with or without the actual project kit inside). So we decide to decorate the box using the Botanicals for You stamp set, some left over pieces from inside the kit and then a few additional items.
The Just for you is stamped on Shimmery White card stock with Archival Black Ink. Then we water-colored around it to add the Bermuda Bay color. This technique was shared by Cindy Schuster who is my partner in crime at the retreats! For this technique go around your image with water filled aquapainter first. Then come back and go around it with the aquapainter dipped in ink.
The doily, gold thread, and sequins came from the kit. The flower is made with Cotton Paper just like the flowers in the kit and we also carried over the stamped butterfly idea from one of the kit pages. The beautiful Watermelon Wonder ribbon is in the Occasions Catalog – don’t miss it – it is so soft and easy to work with.
One of the available selections for your free Sale-A-Bration item is the Memories in the Making Project Life Specialty Card Collection. There are 30 specialty cards to supplement the memories in the Making Project Life Bundle in the Occasions Catalog. Or one of our other Project Life card kits. This little collection includes a selection of acetate cards with metallic ink. There are also UV resist cards that you can color areas and reveal the resist pattern.
Here is a little video showing you the cards in the specialty collection.
A suggestion for $50 in product would be – the Memories in the Making Project Life Bundle – that’s the card collection, accessory pack and coordinating stamp set, a 6×8 Kraft album, and a Variety Pack of 6×8 Pocket Pages.
I have a bunch a family here for Easter so keeping this short.
The days are going so quickly. It’s hard to believe March is almost over and Easter is this weekend! It just snuck up on me! I’ll be getting ready for lunch for 30 people on Sunday as our family comes in from all over the SouthEastern US to join us for the day. I have a few littles this year so there will be an Easter egg hunt but probably inside as the weather man is predicting rain.
But back to Sale-A-Bration – there are 5 more days – so hurry and place an order if you have any of them on your wish list. Today’s set is the Perfect Pairings stamp set. It’s a perfect set for every stamper even the beginner – pair up the different words to create a bunch of different greetings for all of your cards!
This is a perfect graduation card or a congrats on landing a job or completing a goal – achieving a new title or other accomplishment. And it’s a fun card with a short front and a peek-a-boo strip of Designer Paper. It’s actually on the inside of the card and peeks out under the star when the card is closed.
I received this card idea in the mail and just made a few minor changes to it. I love that demonstrators share ideas. On line and through swapping. I’m preparing now for swapping with my demo friends in Salt Lake City at the OnStage Live event in April. I have a lot to do over the next few weeks!
So here is a $50 order suggestion: the three punches come to exactly $50!
