Fall Break

It is so nice of the weather to start feeling like fall during Fall Break.  Well Ryan has fall break right now – a week off from school – the rest of the family doesn’t.  I guess once some of the kids are in college it is hard to get everyone together on the same schedule.  Ryan may not be too happy with me about the activities I had planned for his break week.  We have been spending some time together – but all of it revolves around doctors appointments.  I’m making up for lost time with busy schedules he was due for just about everything and with a busy after school schedule due to Marching Band it really limits when I can get appointments – so this was the week to catch up.

It is starting to look like fall around here – at least all the leaves are starting to fall off the trees – the temps have been lower this week and there has been a breeze so it has been nice.  I think it will be nice weather for my fall retreat which is in two weekends – I can’t wait.  So with fall in the air I have a “fall themed” project to share.

jumbo-clip-holderIt is a jumbo clip – photo holder – on the card stock you can add a photo to display.  I made one of these years ago and have it in my bathroom – it actually has a picture of the dogs – Aspen & Magnolia.  This one I plan to add a picture of my boys – I just have to decide which one.  We made this at my Stamp Club this month.  Here are a few details –

  • I bought the jumbo clip on line a long time ago so I don’t remember exactly where I got them – they were prepainted white.
  • I covered the front and back with a piece of the Burlap Ribbon
  • on the front I added a strip of the Sweater Weather Designer paper, cut a leaf from a different print – sponged the edges, stamped the acorn from Truly Grateful stamp set – it’s also sponged with Soft Suede ink inside and on the edges after it was cut out, tie some linen thread around the acorn clip-close-up
  • for the photo mat I used Chocolate Chip card stock
  • add a strip of the Sweater Weather Design Paper to the side
  • I pierced 4 holes using the piercing pad, template and piercer and then used Linen Thread and cross-stitched through and tied in a bow in the corner.
  • stamp “Thankful for” from the Truly Grateful stamp set and punch out with the Modern Label punch, sponge the edges and add to the corner photo-mat-close-up

I hope you like it.  I got the idea for this project from our demonstrator magazine – Stampin’ Success – it had a similar project using two small clothespins and I remembered I had these big ones so I wanted to use those to create something similar.  I like the way it turned out and now need to decide on which photo to add to it.

Thanks for stopping by today!

First Day of School – a different perspective

Everyone has probably had their first day of school now.  I counted for us we have had the first day of school 17 times now – that’s 17 years since Kyle started Kindergarten.  And my thoughts on the first day of school are not the same now as they were way back then.  Kyle has gone back to college (he is now working on a Master’s degree) and left lots of stuff in his room and a closet so jam packed with stuff you couldn’t get anything in or out.  So I decided to take everything out of the closet and hopefully get rid of some stuff and reorganize it a minimum.  After pulling everything out I took a picture.  Later in the day I created a scrapbook page and decided to use that picture along with my thoughts on the first day of school now.  I’m usually terrible about journaling but I’m trying to learn to be better – I need to remember to journal as though I’m talking to someone – telling someone a story or answering a question.  So this page is mostly about the journaling.

2013 Family Book-010

The My Digital Studio Elements I used on this page include

  • See Ya Next Year Designer Kit
  • Days to Remember Designer Kit
  • Epic Overlays stamp brush set
  • Storytime Designer Kit
  • Square Punch

I counted the books that I found in Kyle’s room when I sorted them yesterday – 180 – and there could be more hidden that I haven’t come across yet.  Now to decide what to tackle next – the games or the computer parts.

I also submitted this page in the My Digital Studio Challenge (although it might have been late – unless they extended the deadline) – go give it a like and leave me a comment – maybe I can win the challenge.  Here is the link for you.

My Digital Studio – hometowns

I wanted to share some My Digital Studio layouts with you today.  I am finishing up the Germany album from my trip in May.  I’m working on the last few pages.  It is a big book – going to end up around 60 pages.  I plan to print 4 copies – one for myself, one for my parents, one for my brother and one for my uncle.  There is no way I could have made traditional scrapbooks for this trip – so I’m very happy to have My Digital Studio as an option.

I have two different 2-page layouts – one is my dad’s hometown visit and one is my mom’s.  Both grew up in Berlin, Germany.  My dad was a bit outside the city in a smaller town near a lake.  And my mom was in the city.  Here is my Dad’s hometown layout.

Germany 2013-020

Germany 2013-021

The day we went to see where my mom grew it up it poured down rain.  We didn’t get to see as much as we had planned, but we did get out .   Here is my mom’s two page layout.

Germany 2013-022

Germany 2013-023

You can click on each image to see a larger version and read the journaling if you are interested.  My Digital Studio is at price you can’t beat – $19.95 – gets you the full program and tons of digital content to get you started.  You spend that much on dinner and it will be gone in a few minute, you can spend that on My Digital Studio and preserve your family memories for a lifetime!   I’m so excited to finish this book but I keep coming up with more pages to add.  I’m down to the last day and we did so much it’s taking me multiple 2 page spreads just to cover that one day.  Then I want to add a layout about all the food we ate and the restaurants we went to.  A layout with all our modes of transportation, and one about all the grafitti.  And I want to add a family tree page to show everyone we saw from my mom’s side of the family on the trip.    So I’m getting close but not quite done.

My Digital Studio is available as a Digital Download – order in my online store, download and get started today.  Or order the disc (you’ll have to add shipping & tax and wait on it to ship to you).   You can shop online for either version here at my website Online Store.  There is even a website just for My Digital Studio users – MyDigitalStudio.net – you can find out lots of information there – what print products are available, training videos, samples, challenges, blog postings, discussion forums.

Gorgeous Grunge

Gorgeous Grunge is going to be a new go-to stamp set – I can feel it!  And I’m even going to sell my retired Extreme Elements stamp set.  I pulled it out today because I’m preparing for a new event.  A BOGO sale on Saturday, August 24th.  Read about it here and come on over to shop that day!

But for now I have a card using the new Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

grunge-cardThis was another Make & Take project from the Stampin’ Up! Convention.  This year at convention you had the option to make your projects there and take them home or take them home and make them later.  Because there was SO much to do during convention I did the latter. And so did my roomies – Cindy and Diane.  So instead we planned a day to get together once we returned home and we made him here at my house.  It was much more relaxed and we weren’t so rushed.  But I did tell them we actually have to set a date to do it other wise I’ll keep putting it off.

So now I’ll finish my story before I head out to our weekly My Digital Studio crop.

And now for the continuation of the journey home from San Francisco (in case you don’t watch Hell’s Kitchen – that’s what they say at the beginning of each episode – I’m trying to be funny – and I’m probably not – sorry).

Let’s see I left off with us waiting for the wheel chair.  Our assigned helper (not sure what they are called) came and got Tyler into the chair and got our gate information (first to the 7:45 standby flight) which was already starting to board.  And in another terminal which we had to go outside and down to the next building to get to.  And she wheeled us right to the front of the security line!  Yeah – finally something in our favor.  Nothing big there – oh but that reminds me of a small incident that happened on our flight out – sorry brief side story here – when we left Atlanta I told the boys – shoes off, jackets off, empty pockets, laptops out of your bag.  They assured me they knew.  But as we went through the line Greg went first, then the boys and I came last – the boys double checked with Greg (he probably wasn’t listening) about taking out their laptops.  I did not hear this and as I got ready to go through security – both of the boys backpacks got pulled out to be searched and they took the boys aside.  I’m waiting to go through and wondering what is going on.  They DIDN”T take out the laptops – apparently Greg said they didn’t have to!  The security lady was very nice and laughing at them for listening to dad instead of mom.  I assured her that I told them to take the laptops out.

Ok – sorry for the side story.  Anyway in LAX we got through security (grateful that we didn’t have to wait in the long line).  I told her I needed to find Sudafed – so we did that  on the way to the gate.  Then we went to the gate and she took our boarding passes to the agent.  I ended up running back to get a really expensive pack of crackers because I wanted him to eat a little bit before taking the Sudafed.  I came back to see that there are more than 40 people on the Standby list!  And the flight was boarding.  So we wait and watch the screen and watch the numbers and watch the people get on the plane.  I thought there was no way we were getting on.  But then I see that we are number 3 & 5 on the standby list.  I ran to the desk to remind them that we were traveling together so either both or neither.  As they finished loading the plane they kept calling over the intercom – everyone with a ticket board now.  You will lose your seat if you aren’t on board now.  Etc.  I watched the board only to see the seats available change to 0 and we were now 2 and 4.  They called our name to stand in front of the desk – so we did.  Then it seemed the agents were becoming frantic – rushing around – telling people it was the last call.  The girl with us pushing the wheel chair seemed to think we might make it.  Then they told us to stand at the top of the bridge area – where they scan your boarding passes.  The agents are now running around yelling – 3 min, 2, min – someone runs down to the plane.  Someone needs to print a report.  They tell us and a couple of other people to walk down to the plane but don’t get on.  The agents start yelling at each other about the report and how many seats there are.  The flight attendent lines us up in priority – I’m nbr 1, Tyler is 3 but they move the man between us behind him.  Someone finally comes running of the plane to tell them there are 6 seats and he writes a number on each boarding pass and they tell us to get on quickly and get seated so we can leave.  We do – they close the doors – I’m so happy we are on this plane and headed home.  and we wait.  the flight attendants check everything.  and we wait.  I talk to the girl next to me and she is traveling alone.  I ask if she would switch with Tyler once we get in the air.  She said she would do it now and tries to flag a flight attendant.  Finally we see one and they find Tyler and bring him back to me.   And we wait.  Hmm.  Why aren’t we leaving the gate…….

Finally the pilot comes on – there is a problem – oh no!  The plane is out of balance and they have to correct it by removing fuel from the plane so they are waiting on a gas truck to come.  He will check the numbers every 5 minutes and update us every 10.  What!  You have to be kidding me.  And personally if I’m flying across the US I don’t think fuel is what I want you to remove!  So now everyone is allowed to get up move around, turn on their devices.  I think everyone took that to mean – let’s go to the bathroom (which we were sitting in front of) and don’t bother using headphones!

I even bravely told a man to have his child use headphones or turn off the sound on their game (believe me everyone could here it) – but it wasn’t the dad and when the dad heard us – he is on the other side of the plane – he is huge!  He is probably the reason we are out of balance and he gave me an evil eye.  And I gave him one back and the sound on that toy turned off.

Tyler is trying to sleep but it just isn’t working – finally he starts throwing up on the plane – luckily I had bags with me this time.  And we still haven’t taken off.  Finally the pilot comes on and says we are good and everyone get in their seat so we can go.  But then we still don’t go because of too much traffic on the run ways.  Ultimately we left TWO HOURS after we boarded that plane.  We sat at the gate for 2 hours!  And you couldn’t get back off the plane.  The 9 something flight left before we did.  And once we got in the air – they ran out of food at the row in front of us.  Not that Tyler wanted to eat  but i was hungry and so tired.   We finally arrived at the Atlanta airport at 5:00 pm  just in time for Greg to pick us up and sit in Atlanta rush hour traffic trying to get home.  But we made it.  And Tyler went right to sleep.  I got a shower, some food, and then went to sleep.

We got Tyler on his meds – antibiotic and a steroid and then followed up with a doctor at home.  Everything seems to be fine now and he still never had any signs that he was sick at all other than the head pain.

I’m done – that is my long drawn out story.  I hope at some point you laughed because if I didn’t laugh about it now I would be crying just thinking about it.  But that was the one thing I didn’t want to do even though I wanted to during that whole journey.  And if you know me I’m pretty much a crier – it doesn’t take much to bring a tear.  I held strong.  Now to wait and see what the insurance will and won’t cover on all the bills we got.  And if they deny anything i think i’ll send them here to read my story on my blog!

Bye for now.

Alternate Chevron Bag Idea

Have you noticed the cute little Chevron bags in the Stampin’ Up! catalog – page 158?  They are flat bags but easy to alter into a little gusseted bag.  This was one of our Make&Takes from convention.

celebrate-bagThis is the view from the front.  And here is the view from the side –

bag-side-view

You make a couple of scores and then a few snips and you have converted the flat bag.

  • Vertically score both side of the bag at 1″ and horizontally from the bottom at 1-1/4″.
  • You will snip from the bottom of the bag up to the score line – to make two little tabs on the sides
  • just cut across the bottom of the bag so you can open it up
  • fold on the score lines you created – and fold the original sides in toward the inside to create the gusset
  • fold up and secure the bottom of the bag using washi tape.
  • If you want some support in the bottom of the bag cut a rectangle piece of some card board (like the backing on the designer paper) to fit into the bottom.

The tag is from the Tag a Bag Accessory kit and the stamped image is from Tag It stamp set.  That is this years Ronald McDonald House stamp set.  Stampin’ Up! Donates a portion of the sales from each set to the Ronald McDonald House.  I’m about to leave to go volunteer there tonight.  We will be stamping with the house guests – making cards with them for their evening activity.

I hope you like the little project!

And now for the continuation of our trip home from San Francisco.

Yeah did you forget it was a trip home from San Francisco.

We were at the hospital ER now waiting for the taxi to come and take us back to LAX so we could try to get on a flight home.  The taxi comes – this time a normal looking taxi.  He starts to drive us back to the airport.  Tyler starts flailing his arms around gesturing at me and me being really really tired (already up for about 24 hours) I was a little slow at trying to figure out what was going on.  Then i realized he wanted a bag – he was going to get sick in the taxi – oh no!  I’m pulling things out trying to find a bag he could use (didn’t want him to use my Stampin’ Up! bag that I was carrying) – quickly found a bag of snacks – dumped most of it out and held the bag up.  The taxi driver didn’t say a word but I know he was freaking out thinking what a mess it was going to be in his taxi.  But I got it all in the bag.   I know gross – but now I’m thinking he just threw up all the meds they gave him in the ER.  What should I do – have the guy take us back to the ER for more meds or try to go home without anything to ease Tyler’s symptoms.  At least we knew what it was at this point and Tyler said he would just deal with it – he wanted to go home.  So we got out at the airport – paid the cab driver – who did take a look in the back to see what kind of mess there was.  Not one thank you very much.

Now it’s early morning though and the airport is packed – people are in line all the way out the doors!  I find my way back to the special services line and tell Tyler to go sit on the floor against the wall (also near the bathroom) while I wait in line and get us back on a flight.  After waiting in the line for awhile I get to the front and tell the lady what has been happening, show her all my hospital paper work, all our old boarding passes, and show her where Tyler is sitting on the floor.  She says uh-oh.  What now?  Well when they split our tickets apart from Greg & Ryan they issued the tickets individually to us (not a party of 2) and one of us actually had a seat on the 1:30 pm flight.  And the other had a seat on the 5:45 am flight that had already left.  This was now maybe 6 in the morning.  I told her we both needed to be on the same flight and the next flight out so that I could get him home and back to a doctor to follow up after our ER visit.  Same story – all the flights are full, all are overbooked.  In fact while I was standing there they had cancelled all the flights from LAX to SFO for the whole day.  She would see what she could do.  7:45 flight full, 9:00 something flight full, 11:00 something flight full.  The first seat was on the 1:30 flight that one of us had a seat on.  Ok fine – we will take that.  But then she offers to put us on standby for the 7:45 am flight.  And if we didn’t make that one, we would be stand by on the next and the next and then the 1:30 we had confirmed seats.  OK we will do that.  So she issues us all the tickets/boarding passes and asks if I want a wheel chair for Tyler.  I said no he can walk.  She says again – are you sure you don’t need a wheel chair for Tyler – remember I was tired and my brain was slow but then it clicked and I said YES I do.  So she put him on the list for a wheel chair.  Once I finished with her I grabbed him and said by the way you are riding in a wheel chair through the airport.  Tyler would normally say he was ok to walk but I said you need it this time.  And went to find the place to wait for that.

I have to go now – will finish the story tomorrow – there is still some more!

Videos for new products

Did you know that the new Holiday Catalog has embedded videos in it?

Yep – there is an app that you put on your mobile device called LAYAR  – then you use it to scan over the icons in the catalog and it will unlock a video.  The instructions are on page 5 of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.   I found the icon 13 times in the Holiday catalog – I check ed it out briefly this morning, but found I needed better light to get it to scan – I was getting a glare in my kitchen and had to move to another room for it to work better.  If you don’t have a mobile device you can also find the videos online at stampinup.com/showmehow.

And if you want to see more videos there is also the Stampin’ Up! Youtube channel.  One day I’ll make another video – just not sure when that will be.   Here is one I found from Stampin’ Up! – showing the new Thinlit card dies that just came out.

Hopefully mine will be here soon. They will probably be a feature item in my September classes.

And now the continuation of the journey home from San Francisco story –

To begin with I do want to tell you that Tyler is fine we just didn’t know what was going on at the time.

I left off with us at the Emergency Clinic in Los Angeles – after waiting for a while they finally took us back to a room.  The doctor came and did an exam, checked his vitals, etc.  She could not find anything wrong and her only other suggestion was to get a CT-scan of his head.  But the problem was she didn’t have the equipment there we would have to go to the real ER to do that.  So we discussed his pain level some more talked about pain medication and if he thought he could travel home and then see a doctor there.  She gave him a prescription pain med and we waited a short time.  I asked about if it could be anxiety related to the plane crash in San Francisco and she talked to him about that and it was not a concern for him.  She checked back to see if the paid meds were working and he said no.  She wanted to know if Tyler felt he needed to go to the ER and he said no – he thought he could go back and fly home.  So we were discharged and told if the pain got worse to go to the ER, and to follow up with a doctor at home.  My thought was that if I got us back to the airport he could maybe sleep for a few hours before we boarded a morning flight home.  The clinic called the taxi and gave us a voucher for $6.50 to get back to the airport.  And we waited.  The doctor saw us in the lobby after her shift ended and asked if they called a taxi I said yes but they didn’t show up and the reception girl left earlier so we were just sitting and waiting.  So the doctor tracked down the taxi for us.

I was a bit nervous about the taxi driver – he came in a van that was empty except the two very back seats – not sure what goes on in the middle of the empty van but I thought that was weird.  Then he complained as soon as I handed him the voucher.  Most cabbies wouldn’t come pick up a ride for $6.50.  And we should be glad he came to get us.  Ugh – believe me it wasn’t my choice to even be there.  He drove and I watched the meter and as he got caught up in airport traffic (it was probably approaching midnight so I’m not sure why there was so much traffic) he started to complain more because the voucher wasn’t even going to cover the cost of the ride.  Ugh!  Now I’m thinking he is going to dump us out when the meter hits $6.50 and I had no idea where we were.  So I offered if I could pay the difference – and he says “that’s up to you” – which I took to mean that yes he wanted the money but he wasn’t going to say it.  Luckily Greg had given me the money earlier which included some small bills which I pulled out.  Then he asks if he can drop us off down stairs.  I said I don’t know I have never been here and don’t know where to go – but we need to go to the check-in.  He says yeah just go up the escalator and he stops for us to go out.  OK.  We get out and go to the escalator – it goes down not up and now I don’t know where to go.  We enter the building which is under construction – with plastic hanging everywhere and many of the signs covered up.  Somehow we must have managed to find a way up stairs to the checkin/ticketing area.  Although I really don’t remember how.

Inside there is a line at the special services desk – which is where we needed to go since I didn’t even know what flight we might be on or if we had seats/tickets.  Once we got to the front of the line at first they didn’t want to let us check-in because the flight wasn’t until the morning (and it is like midnight) and we were there too early.  Finally she gave us boarding passes for a 5:45 am flight.  I wanted to take Tyler to the gate and let him sleep before we got on the plane.  Now it is late and once we got down to the terminal there were many people there – all the restaurants and shops were closed up and locked.  We went down and tried to find a place for him to lie down – the only option turned out the be the floor – yuck!  But I really wanted him to try to sleep.   There was still one Delta help agent and a few people down there trying to get their flights changed or fixed or whatever.  There were still some arrivals coming in but otherwise I think the next flights to leave were early morning.

It didn’t take long before Tyler said he couldn’t sleep and he was sure he couldn’t fly either – the pain medicine from earlier hadn’t helped at all and now it was getting worse.  He wanted me to call the EMTs back.  So I went to the help desk and waited for a few minutes while he finish up helping someone.  Then when I said can you call the ambulance/EMTs please – I think I scared the guy because he dropped everything he had in his hands.  It took him a minute to calm down and figure out what to do – he was a young guy – and I just stood there calmly waiting.  I gave him the basic info which he relayed to them and then went to sit back with Tyler.  After a few minutes the guy came over to tell us they were coming and then the whole terminal went dark – I asked was that supposed to happen – he said yes they are doing construction so they probably had to turn the power out.  OK. I was fine with that.  Except that over the intercom there was a lady and she did not seem fine with that “I’m in my office and the power is out.  Why am I sitting here in the dark in my office?  Can someone please turn the power back on. ”  etc, etc.  So now I’m thinking that it wasn’t supposed to happen after all.

Then the EMTs showed up – this time 2 guys (not the same ones from before).  We talk to them – and they apparently already knew it was going to be Tyler since the other guys had come a few hours earlier.  I explained what we did at the emergency clinic and that now we needed to go to the ER.  We got our things and followed them out one of the secret security doors – you know the ones that say don’t enter and you need id and codes to get through.  Once we got through that door we were in a small room with secure doors on all 4 sides.  The EMT tries to get the next door open – and it won’t open – so I mentioned the fact that the power was out and could that be a problem.  Yeah it might be.  My thought is that now we are all stuck in this tiny room.  But eventually they got back in the door that we originally walked through so we were back in the terminal.  And we walked to a different door and got out as the power came back on.  Went down the stairs and onto the ground where the airplanes would be and all the trucks and equipment and stuff.  We walked until we got to the ambulance and they loaded us in and started driving.  Lights on but no sirens.

They actually didn’t do anything on the ambulance.  Didn’t check anything on Tyler – I guess they used all the information from the first guys that came.  He didn’t even lay on the stretcher – he was just buckled in a seat and so was I.  I got the bill when I got home from convention and yikes!  It seemed to me we drove for ever but he assured me it was only 5 miles away from the airport.  Once we got out and they took us in they sent us out to the waiting room – as we were told earlier he was low priority.  And we came to find out Monday is their busiest night in this ER and they were completely full when we arrived.  So we waited and waited and waited.  I’m sure it wasn’t as long as it felt but it seemed to take forever.  Eventually Tyler started getting nauseous and kept gong in to the bathroom.  And I went to the desk to ask how much longer it would be.  Finally a bed opened up and they took us back and put him in a bed and me in a chair against the wall facing the end of his bed.  But I could see the beds on either side and they didn’t have the curtains drawn so I was trying really hard to look only straight ahead at Tyler and not look at the other people.  I also thought it was odd that none of the other patients had people with them – everyone seemed to be alone.  In fact when we were in the waiting room several people left saying to call them and they would come back to pick whoever up.  Maybe its just me but I would not leave a family member or friend in the ER alone.  Another odd thing was that they didn’t put a band or anything on Tyler at all to identify him.  At one point I asked and the reply I got was – “that’s Tyler, right?”.  Greg and I were finally able to text – I think he was back home now or maybe in Cinn. I forget which but he wanted to know what hospital we were at.  Uhhh – good question – I didn’t even know.  I had to go to the nurses station and ask someone.  It was Marina Del Ray Hospital.

Tyler slept some in the bed while we waited on a doctor.  The other 2 patients left and their beds were cleaned.   Eventually the doctor came.  She checked Tyler again.  Asked about family history of brain aneurism – no, family history of brain tumor – no, had he been sick – no, had he been partying – no.  No explanation.  Again the next step was a CT scan and did I want to have that done.  I told her I didn’t want to take him on a plane without knowing the cause since if  we were in the air and something went wrong we couldn’t get to help quickly.  So they would take him to get the CT scan.  And somewhere during that time they gave him a morphine shot and then anti-nasuea shot too.  I asked if I could lay in an empty bed and they said yes and then I heard the nurse go out and tell them not to put anyone in that bed until last because I was using it.  And I also called to tell the airline we wouldn’t be back for our 5:45 flight and that we needed a later flight.  At that point they said they wanted to charge me for changing my ticket – so now I was mad – and I ended up hanging up on that person.  I decided it might be better to go to a person at the airport with all our paper work from the clinic and hospital and Tyler with me.  We waited on the results on the scan which came back in about 5 am.  The doctor returned and said she couldn’t find anything bad on the scan and that it appeared the pain was because the sinus cavity over his left eye was completely full and inflamed and had no where to drain.  And the pressure from flying made it feel like his head was exploding.  Relief that it wasn’t anything terrible – so now what do we do to make it go away so that we can fly home.  They give him an antibiotic, steroid, and a couple of other things.  Prescriptions to fill when we get home.  Follow up with doctor when we get home. She says to go to pharmacy and get sudafed to take before getting on the plane.  Uh – yeah first I don’t know where we are nor where a pharmacy is and we are going right back to the airport.  So we decide they will have that at the airport.  So she will clear him to fly and then discharge us.  They can call a taxi (this one I have to pay for – again good thing Greg gave me all his cash).

I’ll stop there for now and finish the rest in my next post.  Because there is more.

I hope you are enjoying the weekend!
