Mar 26, 2016 | Graduation, Masculine, Sale-A-Bration 2016 |
The days are going so quickly. It’s hard to believe March is almost over and Easter is this weekend! It just snuck up on me! I’ll be getting ready for lunch for 30 people on Sunday as our family comes in from all over the SouthEastern US to join us for the day. I have a few littles this year so there will be an Easter egg hunt but probably inside as the weather man is predicting rain.
But back to Sale-A-Bration – there are 5 more days – so hurry and place an order if you have any of them on your wish list. Today’s set is the Perfect Pairings stamp set. It’s a perfect set for every stamper even the beginner – pair up the different words to create a bunch of different greetings for all of your cards!

This is a perfect graduation card or a congrats on landing a job or completing a goal – achieving a new title or other accomplishment. And it’s a fun card with a short front and a peek-a-boo strip of Designer Paper. It’s actually on the inside of the card and peeks out under the star when the card is closed.
I received this card idea in the mail and just made a few minor changes to it. I love that demonstrators share ideas. On line and through swapping. I’m preparing now for swapping with my demo friends in Salt Lake City at the OnStage Live event in April. I have a lot to do over the next few weeks!
So here is a $50 order suggestion: the three punches come to exactly $50!
Here are the supplies for this card:

Mar 25, 2016 | Paper Pumpkin, Sale-A-Bration 2016 |
Did you know that the easiest way to qualify for a free Sale-A-Bration item is to order a 3-month Prepaid Paper Pumpkin Subscription? It’s on sale for $55 and you get one Sale-A-Bration item for free – like the Metallic Glitter Tape that I used on this card. And if you activate your code by April 10th then you’ll get the April Paper Pumpkin kit and guess what – it’s going to include a FREE bonus stamp set!!
Paper Pumpkin is celebrating its third birthday and ONE MILLIONTH KIT! To celebrate and to thank all the subscribers a special gift will be included in the April box. An exclusive stamp set call All About Everything! So don’t miss it – make sure your Paper Pumpkin account is active by April the 10th – if you have questions just ask me.
Now here is today’s card – I combine the Pocketful of Cheer stamp set from the March 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit and added a few supplies including the Metallic Glitter Tape.

The glitter tape comes in a 3-pack that includes Gold, Silver and white. And the white tape can be colored! I used a sponge dauber and my Silicone craft sheet and colored mine with Bermuda Bay ink.
I added it to the front of a Whisper White note card. Stamped a greeting (did you notice the Just for You is the same font as the Sale-A-Bration set Botanicals for You – just smaller!). Used a couple of punches and stamped some flowers. I thought it turned out adorable!!

Here is a full list of supplies that I used (except the March Paper Pumpkin kit isn’t listed)

Mar 24, 2016 | 2016 Occasions catalog, Sale-A-Bration 2016, Tags |
After today you’ll only have 7 more days to take advantage of the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration offering. One of the cutest stamp sets is the Honeycomb Happiness set. It has an adorable little chick, and the balloon and ice cream cone in it. I used it here for some little treats that I gave out at my Tin of Cards class back in January.

This idea came from Erica Cerwin. It’s a little 2″ wide box that uses the Ornate Tag Topper punch to punch the flaps that cover the front. The twine holds the box shut and the tag is stamped with the ice cream cone from the Honeycomb Happiness set. I did some paper piecing by stamping the cone on the colored card stock too – and cutting it out to layer on the card. The adorable Honeycomb embellishments are in the Occassions catalog (and so is the twine).
You need $50 in product to get this stamp set for free – here is a suggestion – the punch, the honeycomb embellishments, the Baker’s Twine, Sponge Daubers (those make the polka dots on the box), and 2 ink pads.

Mar 23, 2016 | Cards, Sale-A-Bration 2016, Stamper's Club |
I’m continuing with countdown to the end of Sale-A-Bration. Today I’m sharing with you a cute card using the Flowering Fields stamp set. I think it is probably my favorite from this years Sale-A-Bration collection. At least its been the one I’ve used the most. And it coordinates with the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper I used in yesterdays project. I love all the different flowers and being able to color them either with Stampin’ Write Markers or with an Aqua Painter like I did for this card.

Since the flowers are pretty delicate with not much coloring needed I was able to use just plain Whisper White card stock with my Aquapainter for the watercoloring. I used both the Tangelo Twist and the Hello Honey on the flowers.
My Stamper’s Club made this card this month and everyone was able to choose the word they wanted to use. The Expressions Natural Elements include three different 3D greetings – Congrats, Thanks and Celebrate. These wood veneer words are really fun to use and I just put them on my card with glue dots.
Don’t forget to decorate the inside of your card too:

And your envelope too!
Here’s a suggestion for your $50 order so you can get this stamp set free: 2014-2016 In Color Designer Series paper stack, Expressions Natural Elements, Rhinestones, Aquapainters, Glue Dots.

Mar 22, 2016 | 2016 Occasions catalog, Big Shot, Sale-A-Bration 2016 |
Can you believe it is almost the end of March? There are only 9 more days left after today. March and Sale-A-Bration are coming to a quick end. Today’s project features two items from the Sale-A-Bration brochure – Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper and the Botanicals for You stamp set.

It’s an adorable box filled with a set of cards. This will be one of the projects for my April Botanical Gardens class.
The Botanical Builder Framelits Dies are part of the Botanical Gardens bundle. For this project I used the Wildflower Fields Designer paper for this project instead of the Botanical Gardens Designer paper. The colors are Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss. I love how it turned out. And the little Botanical Garden Jewels are the cutest little things to add just a little bling to a project.
The Botanical Gardens Bundle is priced at $51.75 and earns you a free Sale-A-Bration item – the Botanicals for You stamp set would be perfect. But that ends on March 31st so hurry!

Here is a supply list for the project:
