Gosh – I’m feeling so behind and like I can’t catch up….
I have the July Wow Scrapbook Kit posted now – go on over to the blog to check out all the details – wowscrapbookkits.wordpress.com – here is a sneak peek of the pages for this month:

My favorite is the Circle Circus summer layout – some of the pictures from our beach trip should fit perfectly on there. The Dad layout uses the Totally Tool set and we have lots of pictures of home projects that could work on this layout – I’ll have to see what I can find. I have tons of pictures that I have never scrapped and I have become a totally random scrapper. Lately I have been creating the pages first and then remember an event or pictures that I might have that will go on it. Other times I have the pictures and create a page to go with them – but that is not normally what I do. I want to spend alot more time on my personal scrapbooking. I have several vacation albums I want to complete and then one big goal for this year is to complete an album for Kyle before he graduates high school next spring! I am also working on a year in review album that Wendy has created – we get together once a quarter and make about a double page layout for each of three months. I have to finish my March, April and May pages now.
The day is quickly getting away from me – AGAIN! How does that always happen? I want to go create in my craft room with my new stuff so I have more to share with you and I need to finalize my plans for all of my convention swaps and classes for this month. I’m expecting the rest of my new catalog stuff (what I ordered on the 1st) to come tomorrow!! I can’t wait!
Happy Stampin’ and Scrappin’!!

Jun 17, 2009 | Big Shot, Blog Tour, Catalogs, Circle Circus, Decor Elements, Scrapbook Pages, Stamps, SU Buttons |
So sorry that I didn’t get a post out yesterday. It was a busy day and by the time I sat down last night to do it the internet was down. I’m not sure what the problem was but it was back this morning when I checked around 8:30. Yesterday was – tennis camp (Ryan), meet the new band director (Tyler), dentist appointments (all 3 boys), tennis match (Ryan). Ryan did end up winning the tennis match with his doubles partner Sam – it was mostly due to Sam that they won – but Ryan did have the final winning shot though.
Today I’ll show a sneak peek from the new catalog – if you spend time out there looking at blogs you may have already seen this set being used. The set is called Circle Circus and actually coordinates with the Decor Elements called Eclectic Circles that we already have. This is a 6×6 scrapbook page that we made at my downline meeting last week. It is a design from a 12″ x 12″ layout that Stampin’ Up! created and is shown in the new catalog. I just made it smaller. The title is the Stampin’ Up! Billboard alphabet Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die for the Big Shot. The colors I used are Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise. The title is Chocolate Chip. And the button is from the Button Latte Designer Button collection. I think this is going to be a fun set and it works with all the circle punches that we have. You’ll see more of this from me as it will be my featured set for the next Blog Tour – more information is in the right hand side bar.
Have a great rest of the day!

The Stampin’ Up! demonstrators were able to pre-order the new colors this month and now I can show them to you. Here are the 6 new colors:

These new colors will be available in two card stock sizes 8-1/2″ x 11″ and 12″ x 12″ and regular and textured. Stampin’ Up! has added In Color Stampin’ Write Markers! And our new ribbon is Polka Dot 1/2″ Grosgrain Ribbon available in all 6 In Colors.
The stamp set used on my sample cards is a new set called Cirlce Circus. It was one of the ones that I pre-ordered.
Remember to order the 2008-2009 In Colors before they are gone. I have lists of all the retiring accessories, stamp sets and decor elements in the link in my side bar called “LAST CHANCE LIST – JUNE 2009” – look under Helpful Information. This is the last month you will be able to order Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette.
Stampin’ Up! has had some great colors in the In Color Collections for the past few years and we can cross our fingers and toes that they will decide to add some of them to our permanent color collections one day…..
Have a colorful day today!
