I think I got the editing issue resolved – I didn’t do anything but today it was working. I guess it was just one of those days…
Hello December!
I designed this fun project for my girls that came to the Fall 2015 Stamp, Scrap & Create Retreat. It’s a December count down (or count up) calendar. Marking the days of December until Christmas arrives. I used the Hello December Project Life Accessory Pack as the main piece of the project – so each person had their own Accessory Pack to work with and kept everything that we didn’t use for this project. I also used the Hello December Project Life Card Collection – but divided a pack between multiple people. In the card collection there are 3 designs that had 10 cards of each – so everybody got one of those and then the rest I sorted by “type” and divided up equally.
Here is the cover –
I added card stock pieces to create the base of each page. The pages are attached to the frame with book rings. In order to have the punched holes in the same place for every page I created a template piece that I used to mark the holes on each page before punching.
Here are the first few pages – December 1 – December 6.
I’ll share more pages in the coming days.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Jun 10, 2014 | Big Shot, Cards, Designer Series Paper, Masculine, Occasions Catalog 2014, Sale-A-Bration 2014, Stamp, Scrap, & Create Retreat |
This was our third Make&Take project at the Stamp, Scrap & Create Retreat. A Birthday card kit that included a birthday cards for a variety of people – a kids card, a teen card, a feminine card and a masculine card. I wanted to accomplish a few things for this project and set of cards. While designing it the plan was to use a consistent color scheme – so the whole set coordinates, and I wanted to use the same layout for each of the cards – to show that changing just the stamp set could make it a completely different card. I was able to use items from my pre-order for the new Stampin’ Up! catalog along with items from the Occasions catalog that continued on into the new annual catalog.

I decided to use the new Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack for this project so the color scheme is Sahara Sand, Basic Gray, Whisper White and two brand new colors – Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon. I’m not sure if you have noticed this before but with the paper stacks if you look at one side you have one set of colors and if you flip over and look at the other side you have a slightly different set of colors. For this moonlight stack one side includes the Lost Lagoon (that’s what I used for this project) while the other side included the Blackberry Bliss.
Here is a closer look at each piece of this project.
The box that holds the 4 cards and envelopes was made with the Envelope Punch Board. The front decorated with the Starburst Sayings and Starburst Framelits.
The kids card uses the new Sea Street stamp set and the “happy birthday” is from a new set called Something to Say. A strip of the Moonlight paper stack – that looks like waves and the Starburst die cut is embossed with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder – to look like bubbles. Does that embossing folder look familiar? It was one of the Sale-A-Bration free choices a few months ago.
The teen card uses the Geometrical stamp set and the Triangle punch. For this one the greeting is on the circle and then the punched triangles were added around the front of the card giving a little different look to the same card layout.
Here is the feminine card – it uses the new So Very Happy stamp set. While this wasn’t part of our pre-order it was a set that I received during the Leadership conference back in January. The flower in the set coordinates with the Blossom Punch.
And finally the masculine card – it uses the set called Timeless Talk. This isn’t a new set it was actually in last years catalog too. But sometimes you don’t notice a set until its presented in a different way. For the center of the dial on the phone I added a little Basic Gray candy dot.
For all the cards I used the Hardwood Background stamp. And they each have the large starburst that is embossed, the strip of Moonlight Designer Paper and the 2-1/2″ circle punch with an image plus the punched greeting.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Jun 7, 2014 | e-cutter, My Digital Studio, Scrapbook Pages, Stamp, Scrap, & Create Retreat |
Here is another Make&Take project from the Stamp, Scrap & Create Retreat. This one was designed by Cindy and uses an e-cutter to cut the stars out of the Designer Paper and also the words
. We created both a card and a 12×12 scrapbook page using the same basic layout and the same elements.

The gold sequins add a little sprinkle of gold throughout each project.

Jun 4, 2014 | Big Shot, Paper Pumpkin, Stamp, Scrap, & Create Retreat |
Really you are! This was one of our Make & Take Projects at the Stamp, Scrap & Create Retreat. While it took some time to roll all the flowers and attach them to the bag the results were gorgeous!

This idea was from my friend Jeanna who is on the Artisan Design team. My bag is in coral colors – Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette. The bag is from one of the past Paper Pumpkin kits – and if you are a current subscriber the refill packs were available – that is what I ordered for the retreat. We used the bag and ribbon handles for this project and then I used the other pieces on the little pillow gifts that I made. Here is a closer look at the little tag.

We gave the Big Shot and the Spiral Flower die a work out for this project. Cut and rolled 28 flowers for each bag! The craft tweezers and hot glue guns were also well loved for this project.

I hope you like this project!

May 28, 2014 | Paper Pumpkin, Stamp, Scrap, & Create Retreat |
This is was the last little surprise that I had for the girls at the Stamp, Scrap & Create Retreat.
I saw this idea on the internet somewhere – I think on Facebook from a page that I liked. These cute little decorated wine glasses. So I went on a search for some and found them at a local store. Then I had to decide what to put in them. I finally found little brownie bites – but these were individually wrapped! I thought that would be perfect if they would fit in the little glass. Two brownie bites were just the right fit.
Then I created little tags using leftover pieces from the Paper Pumpkin kit – In the Bag (that’s the one I’ve been using pieces from for a variety of things for this retreat). I used the Bermuda Bay circles to form the tag and also used one to punch out the small butterfly. I used the white circles to stamp and punch out the bigger butterfly. I added some ribbon to the back and clipped them to the glass with the little mini clothespins from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Like it says enjoy!
