As an Honorary Queen I am so excited to welcome you to the ROYAL BLOG TOUR!  Come inside my castle and look around.  I hope you enjoy your royal visit!

I will go back to my regular posting schedule after the tour – this post will be at the top of my blog until the tour is over.  If you are playing in my Blog Bingo game – I will resume after the Royal Blog Tour – so hold tight for a few days.

On the tour you will visit Princesses from all over showing you different styles of stamping and different stamp sets.

Have fun on the tour… your carriage awaits!

My featured Stampin’ Up! stamp set is the Winter Post (#111780) set!  Send your love this Christmas season with the Winter Post stamp set. Mix the vintage and modern images in this set for post cards, scrapbook pages, or handmade cards with a unique twist. This set—in addition to being the first stamp set in Shelli’s Signature Collection—is an all-around Christmas set with many options you’re sure to adore for years to come.

I have created several projects to show you during the tour I hope that you enjoy them.  Visit my blog again after the tour when I’ll be posting more details about each project.  I can’t show you everything today because I want you to have time to enjoy your journey through all the castles!

Project 1 – Set of Tags in a Clear Box

I like to make little 3×3 tags and they work perfectly for Christmas gifts.  I made a full set using several images from the Winter Post stamp set and the Deck the Hals Designer Series paper.  I decided to make a clear box to hold all my tags. The box is embossed with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder – it is kind of hard to see it.  You could even give this as a little hostess gift for a holiday party that you attend this year.

Project 2 – JOY Banner

I decided to make this project because I really liked the BOO banner that I made for Halloween.  I remembered that I had purchased these wood letters – luckily I had 2 sets, because I wasn’t happy with my first version of my ‘J’ or my ‘O’.  But I love them now.  And yes I did cut out all the reindeer’s!    Here are some close ups of the letters and I’ll have more details on exactly how I made these after the tour is over.

Project 3 – Scrapbook in a Box

This is a favorite project of mine over the last several years.  I have made this box for many occasions.  This last month I did a class for a group of ladies that wanted to make one of these Scrapbook Boxes but they wanted more than one option.  So I decided to accomplish two things at the same time – design a Christmas Box and a project for this Royal Blog Tour.  Everyone at the class made one of the Christmas boxes and everyone loved them.  I hope you do too.  All it needs is the pictures added.  I still have to print mine – it holds quite a lot – 4 pictures on each layer if you only use one side – or more if you add them to the back of the inside layers.

Project 4 – Treat Bag

This last project is really quick using the Mini Lunch Sacks in the Stampin’  Up! Holiday Mini catalog.  I put the bag in the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I’ll have more details after the Blog Tour ends on each project that I have shown you including a complete list of supplies.

I hope you liked all these ideas.  Come see me again and leave me a comment – you have the chance to win blog candy!
