Stamper’s Club is starting up again with a new round of hostesses! Our first meeting will be on Friday, February 6th at 7:00 pm OR Saturday, February 7th at 10:00 am at my house – That’s next week!!
Current members are already part of our Private Facebook Group – if you would like to join my Stamper’s Club please contact me so I can add you to the group. I’ll set up events in the group so you can let me know ahead of time if you plan to come Friday night or Saturday morning.
What is Stamper’s Club?
So in a nutshell – here’s what you get when you join the Stamper’s Club:
- The Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog and Seasonal Catalogs.
- FREE HOSTESS SHOPPING DOLLARS to spend during your hostess month & your choice of EXCLUSIVE “HOSTESS ONLY” STAMP SETS, based on the total sales of your workshop, the chance to earn ½ price items
- Free Stamping classes, including hands-on projects each month
- Build your supplies over time and “try before you buy” at the meeting
- Time off from your busy schedule: Friendships & idea-sharing with other stamper’s in a relaxed environment and lots of fun
- Each participant agrees to spend at least $30 at each of the meetings (plus shipping and tax). Remember, to qualify for hostess benefits a Stampin’ Up! workshop has to have $150 or more in sales. The larger the group the more hostess benefits you will earn!
- Club members will take turns acting as the hostess each month and receiving the benefits.
Below are the dates for 2015. If any of the dates have to change I’ll try to give you as much notice as I can. Hostesses will be randomly assigned before we meet next week. You don’t need to worry about the snack – I will provide that. Everyone should plan to bring their own drink. The hostess will receive the hostess benefits from the orders that night/morning. Also bring your own basic supplies – scissors, basic adhesive, bone folder.

Stampin’ Up! will have specials throughout the year and new products too! At Stamper’s Club you’ll get to see and try the new products and learn how to use them. I have some fun projects planned and a few may have an extra supply cost – it should be minimal but it will be worth it to make some awesome projects! It’s going to be an exciting year!

Using the Tiny Treat boxes are quick and easy for any occasion – I’ve used them a ton – so here is a Valentine idea for you.
I used the Groovy Love stamp set. I stamped the outline image directly on the box using StazOn Black ink. Then stamped the polka dot heart and the little love circle on Whisper White card stock – punched them out with the matching punches and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach to the front of the box. Fill the box with treats and tie it shut with ribbon – I used the Calypso Coral chevron ribbon. See – quick & easy!

My monthly Card Maker’s Class is this Friday – January 23, 2015. I offer the class twice – once at 10:00 am and then again at 7:00 pm. If you wanted you could even come to both time slots. This is a great class for any level of stamper from a brand-new never stamped before or made a card in my life person to someone that has a craft room full of supplies and makes cards all the time. I hold it towards the end of the month so that you can prepare for the upcoming month. Take a minute to make yourself a list of what kind of cards you may need – next month is February – so that includes Valentine’s Day. Are there any birthday’s, anniversary, do you have invitations to any showers, what about thank you notes or do you have a friend that needs a thinking of you card or just a hello? Come to class with a list and then you’ll know what cards you need and you can create beautiful hand made cards for everyone on your list.
The way I have this class set up is that you get to work at your own pace on the cards that you want to make. I’ll have about a dozen different choices for you and you can make one or more of the ones you want. The class fee is $15 which includes 6 cards plus the envelopes. If time permits you can make additional cards for $2 each. Cards rotate in and out each month and typically stay for more than just one month. Bring your own basic adhesive – like Stampin’ Up! Snail or the multi-purpose glue. I also have some here you can purchase including refills for your snail. If the card needs anything special like glue dots or dimensionals I have those in the box with the card.
