I have another set of display projects to share with you today. This time I’m sharing my Cucumber Crush projects from the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Live Display boards.

This is a treat pouch that is quick and easy to make. Just cut 6×6 pieces of the designer paper and use Tear & Tape to adhere 3 sides together – leaving the top open. I did pull out my little crafty sewing machine to add stitching but you don’t have to do that. I have three brand new items on this one! Can you guess what they are?
- New Melon Mambo Thick Baker’s Twine – we have 3 new colors and this is one of them.
- New Washi Tape – it’s across the bottom of my tag. Its part of the Affectionately Yours collection which has 5 different designs.
- The Swirly Bird stamp set – yes the little flower and stem are from that set.
Keep your eye out on all my samples so that you can see all the different ways I’m using that one stamp set called Swirly Bird. I’ll probably end with one post just showing the flexibility of that stamp set.

This White card – it’s the Thick Whisper White card stock – love it – is such an easy one. I used the new Affectionately Yours Washi Tape on it – this time 3 of the 5 designs. The circle is stamped with the Endless Thanks stamp set in matching colors. I do see that one of my rhinestones slipped off the second yellow flower – it’s caught on my twine bow. So just imagine it in the right spot.

This is one of my 3D projects – part of a Desktop Seasonal Calendar – I’ll do a post showing you the full calendar and how it works later. Right now this is just one of the panels featuring the Cucumber Crush In-Color. Nothing new on here but since the Project Life Day to Day stamp set is retiring – I used that for the seasons – you’ll want to substitute the new one coming in the catalog called Project Life Date It – I like it even better unfortunately I didn’t have it to make this project.

And here is my last Cucumber Crush project – a card featuring the Swirly Bird stamp set – yes really! There are piece of a kite in it and the center of my sun. There are no words in the set however so those I got from various other stamp sets. There is another new product here – it’s the Cucumber Crush Mini Striped Ribbon. I used it here for the bows on my kite tail. I don’t know if you can see the shimmer on the sun rays but I added Wink of Stella to them – you know on a bright sunny day its like everything sparkles in the sun – I was trying to get that look.
The new products will be available in the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog that starts on June 1st.
Thanks for visiting. I’ll be adding these to Pinterest and to Stampin’ Connection. You can follow me on Pinterest by going here.

Hi all –
I’m not sure that I told you – but I had the privilege of being selected as one of Display Stampers for the OnStage Live event in Salt Lake City the other week. I submitted at the very last minute and did not think I would get selected so I really didn’t tell anyone that I had even entered. I was so surprised when I got the email! It was exciting to be a part of such a talented group of demonstrators – including many current and former Artisan Design Team members.
Each display stamper was assign to use either the new In-Colors or the carry over In-Colors for the main focus of our samples – and we had to make 4 projects for each color for a total of 20 projects. It was to be a mixture of cards, scrapbook, and 3-D projects. I was on the carry over In-Color team.
Over the next week or so I’m going to share my Display projects with you. All of these projects were on the display boards during the OnStage Live event – so if you were there you should have seen them. But let me tell you the boards were FILLED with great ideas. There were so many that when we were setting them up we kept running out of space. They even had to move the headings on the boards up to make more space!
Ok – enough rambling – on to today’s samples – these are all featuring the Tip Top Taupe InColor. And I will point out what’s new on each project and a little about it.
This first one is a 3D project – it was actually the very first thing I made. I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits dies and the Glassine Sheets along with the Rose Wonder Bundle. The new product on here is the Ribbon – it’s 5/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon in Tip Top Taupe. On the rose I added Wink of Stella to make it glitter.
Here is another 3D project – a little clutch paper purse. This one also uses the same ribbon but here I stitched some Linen Thread through one side of the ribbon then pulled it into a flower and added the button in the center.

This next one is a 6×8 Project Life page. I used a brand new stamp set on this one! It is called Swirly Bird – and it’s going to be one of the most versatile sets in this new catalog – just wait until you see what all I used it for. Do you see in the upper left the embossing folder I used is the Woodland – it was super popular from the Holiday catalog – so popular in fact that SU is bringing it out of retirement and added it to this catalog!
My last Tip Top Taupe project is this lovely card. It also uses the Swirly Bird stamp set – yes those swirly roses are from the same set as the bird. And I used the bubbles (that’s what I call them) on both of these last two projects. Here they are in the background. For this one I did a water coloring technique – the actual stamped images are embossed in clear on Watercolor paper. Then I used my Aqua Painter and Tip Top Taupe ink to add color in and around them. After I did the water coloring and it all dried I came back and added the Wink of Stella over the flowers – so they sparkle.
I hope you like my Tip Top Taupe projects. It was a peek at some new ribbon and a new stamp set. I have more to come. The new products will be available on June 1st in the 2016-2017 annual catalog.
Thanks for visiting – I’ll be adding this to our Display Stamper Group Pinterest Board – so you can see everyone’s ideas as they post them there. And I’ll post on Stampin’ Connection for those of you that are Demonstrators.

I had an awesome time in Salt Lake City. I thought I had posted at least once while I was there from my phone – but apparently it didn’t work. Wifi in the hotel was not good at all and I was really busy most of the time – going from one thing to another. The new catalog is coming – it’s a great one with a TON of new things – which of course means the retired list is coming and its going to be a big one. Retiring items are while supplies last – so be sure to order early rather than waiting until it is sold out. There are a few shockers on the list. I’ll be sharing later this week with my display samples and other photos from the OnStage Live event. I had the privilege of being selected to stamp samples for the display boards – I had a brand new stamp set – you aren’t going to believe how versatile it is – and some other new products. My samples are all made featuring the carry-over In-Colors.
Here is the list in a pdf format – Retiring List
.
And go here to shop in my online store – SHOP HERE. Categories are on the left – look under Retiring List to see what is going.
If you shop today you can take advantage of the last day of Weekly Deals – tomorrow they will be gone. And there are a bunch of great items on there.
Here is a quick peek at the new catalog cover:

And here are some photos from our first day of the event –
Those were the photos I tried to post and it didn’t work. I’ll have more later.

There will be new surprises for us and a peek at the new catalog!! I’m blogging from my phone so we shall see how well that works. I won’t be able to share much until I get back but I’ll try to post photos of some of the fun we are having.
For now I leave you with a peek at my messy table. I’m hoping the fairies clean it up while I’m away.

You are the apple of my eye! The phrase apple of my eye refers to something or someone that one cherishes above all others. And I cherish all of you. Thank you for supporting me in my Stampin’ Up! business. January through March are always busy because of our Sale-A-Bration promotion. I was working to reach some goals during that time and then in the last few days realized I was not that far from achieving another goal – one I never really thought I could reach so I never paid much attention to it. It’s a performance goal based on sales for the quarter. With 2 days left in the quarter I was still $500 away. I tried to casually post on FB, and then send out reminder emails and I was doing the countdown here on my blog. I didn’t want anyone to miss out on getting their free sets during Sale-A-Bration. Well as it turned out I had enough orders to reach that performance bonus for the quarter!! Thank you so much! It also ended up being my highest sales month ever – that’s over the last 10years. So I cherish all of you that ordered and cheered me on and supported me in any way. 2016 is off to a great start so far!!
So enough chit chat – here is my card for you today.

This is a fun set with all the fruit – you can make apples, peaches, pears, cherries, lemons, limes and I’m sure there are more. I used the apple on this card and on the coordinating envelope. I wanted the apple to have some variation in colors so I did a version of the old Rock-n-Roll technique. It doesn’t seem to work quite the same with the Photopolymer stamps and the new ink pads so I had to play a little. I inked the apple and stamped it off and then added more ink by rolling the edges and not letting all of it touch the pad again. Each one was different but it was fun playing with the variations.
