Hi all –

I’m not sure that I told you – but I had the privilege of being selected as one of Display Stampers for the OnStage Live event in Salt Lake City the other week.  I submitted at the very last minute and did not think I would get selected so I really didn’t tell anyone that I had even entered.  I was so surprised when I got the email!  It was exciting to be a part of such a talented group of demonstrators – including many current and former Artisan Design Team members.

Each display stamper was assign to use either the new In-Colors or the carry over In-Colors for the main focus of our samples – and we had to make 4 projects for each color for a total of 20 projects.  It was to be a mixture of cards, scrapbook, and 3-D projects.  I was on the carry over In-Color team.

Over the next week or so I’m going to share my Display projects with you.  All of these projects were on the display boards during the OnStage Live event – so if you were there you should have seen them.  But let me tell you the boards were FILLED with great ideas.  There were so many that when we were setting them up we kept running out of space.  They even had to move the headings on the boards up to make more space!

Ok – enough rambling – on to today’s samples – these are all featuring the Tip Top Taupe InColor.  And I will point out what’s new on each project and a little about it.

This first one is a 3D project – it was actually the very first thing I made.  I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits dies and the Glassine Sheets along with the Rose Wonder Bundle.  The new product on here is the Ribbon – it’s 5/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon in Tip Top Taupe. On the rose I added Wink of Stella to make it glitter.

Here is another 3D project – a little clutch paper purse.  This one also uses the same ribbon but here I stitched some Linen Thread through one side of the ribbon then pulled it into a flower and added the button in the center.

This next one is a 6×8 Project Life page.  I used a brand new stamp set on this one!  It is called Swirly Bird – and it’s going to be one of the most versatile sets in this new catalog – just wait until you see what all I used it for.  Do you see in the upper left the embossing folder I used is the Woodland – it was super popular from the Holiday catalog – so popular in fact that SU is bringing it out of retirement and added it to this catalog!

My last Tip Top Taupe project is this lovely card.  It also uses the Swirly Bird stamp set – yes those swirly roses are from the same set as the bird.  And I used the bubbles (that’s what I call them) on both of these last two projects.  Here they are in the background.  For this one I did a water coloring technique – the actual stamped images are embossed in clear on Watercolor paper.  Then I used my Aqua Painter and Tip Top Taupe ink to add color in and around them.  After I did the water coloring and it all dried I came back and added the Wink of Stella over the flowers – so they sparkle.

I hope you like my Tip Top Taupe projects.  It was a peek at some new ribbon and a new stamp set.  I have more to come.  The new products will be available on June 1st in the 2016-2017 annual catalog.

Thanks for visiting – I’ll be adding this to our Display Stamper Group Pinterest Board – so you can see everyone’s ideas as they post them there.  And I’ll post on Stampin’ Connection for those of you that are Demonstrators.
