These are the Pretzel treats that I took to my Pokeeno Group last night.

My friend Sue brought over the Chocolate Covered Pretzels and I put them in long cellophane bags – they were too wide for the 1×8 bags so I had to use some wider bags that I bought last year.

I made tags using the Gift Givers’ Stamp Set from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Catalog.  The Halloween image is stamped on Whisper White card stock with Black StazOn ink.  Then punched out with the Decorative Label punch.  I colored it with Stampin’ Write Markers – Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, and Old Olive.  I also sponged around the edge of the tag with Old Olive – going heavy on the bottom edge so the pumpkins look like they are sitting on the ground.

I punched a hole in the corner and tied them to the bags with some Pumpkin Pie Taffeta ribbon (now retired).  They turned out cute and everyone liked them.

A couple of other things I wanted to tell you about.  I am registered to attend the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX in January.  I have never been to Texas so I’m excited to go.  Registration is done, Flight reservations are made, Hotel reservations are made, roommates found.  I still have to register for the Regional Conference which is the day after but the registration isn’t open until next week so I have to wait a little bit longer.

I also wanted to tell you about Kyle, my oldest son.  He is attending Ga Tech – in his second year there and he has been interviewing for Internship jobs for next summer.  He already has two job offers – one in Texas and one in California – and he is still interviewing.  I am very proud of him but I’m not sure I’m ready for him to be so far away.  He did travel to California last weekend all by himself – he flew one other time by himself but we met him there – so this was his first trip by himself, staying in a hotel, he had a limo service pick him up, when to all day interviews at the company and made it back home (well back to his dorm) with no problems.  In the next few weeks he will have to decide which job to take.

Have a great weekend!
