This was my favorite card from my Last Chance class.  The layout comes directly from the front of the new Stampin’ Up! catalog that starts on July 1st.  But the Designer Paper and the stamp set are from the old catalog and on the Last Chance List.

The card base is Sahara Sand and is textured with the new Square Lattice Embossing Folder in the Summer Mini Catalog.  I used strips of paper from the Thoroughly Modern Designer Series paper (this is retiring) to cover the front of a piece of card stock and then cut the whole thing with the Top Note die and the Big Shot.  The strips are of varying widths and one is even scallop with the scallop border punch.

The front tag is from the Matchbox die.

The stamp set is called Of the Earth and is a very pretty Level 1 Hostess set in this year’s catalog.  You have a little bit more time to earn this set.  I used markers to color the flower image – Rose Red and Soft Suede and then stamped in on the left edge.  I used the Warm Words stamp set (also retiring) to stamp the word “cherish” in Soft Suede.  And the little butterfly is stamped in Bermuda Bay (this is a current In-Color and it will be retiring too).

The butterfly is stamped a second time on scratch paper and cut out and popped up on a dimensional on top of the first one.  I stamped the envelope to match.  It turned out so pretty!
