Father’s Day is quickly approaching and I’m not sure I shared this card previously so I better do it now. This was one of the cards from my Good-Bye class as it uses mostly retired stamp sets.
It has some good masculine colors – Soft Suede and I used the Naturals white and some Crumb Cake ink too. Stamp sets I used are:
- Gorgeous Grunge (in the new catalog too)
- Delightful Dozen ( for the happy Father’s day – but there was also one in the May Paper Pumpkin kit)
- Off the Grid (so sad they retired this – I think it is a great background)
- Clockworks
For the center of the clock I added a Vintage Trinkets brad.
I think you could probably use the Open Sea stamp set and create a similar feeling card for Father’s day. And it is still in the new catalog.
