At the Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference I participated in a Simply Adorned swap. We made inserts for the 1″ x 1-1/4″ charm. I have pictures of all of them except mine – I’ll have to take that one and post it separately.

I hope you like all the ideas – I still have mine to share and I also did a Simply Adorned swap at my PAWS meeting so those are still to come too. That should give you lots of ideas to create your own charm inserts.

At every Stampin’ Up! Event there are Make ‘n takes – we have to have our stamping time. This year at Leadership the Make ‘n Takes were the best ever! Our Make ‘n Take session was on Friday night at the end of the Leadership Conference – I hope no one left early because they missed some WOW projects. I wanted to share them all with you. The stamp set they gave us was Clearly for You so the projects we made use that as the main stamp set. The tables were sprinkled with punched pluses to match our +ONE theme (I wonder if that will be a future punch?) and our stamp set and supplies were packaged up in a little box this time.

At the Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference they gave us the cutest bag – well it is really a purse this time.
The print on the fabric is the same as our Vintage Wallpaper Textured Embossing Folder. And the ribbon accent on the front is our 1-1/4″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. On the inside (I didn’t get a picture of that) is the a Stampin’ Up! label – and it is a red rubber stamp that is sewn in. At my downline meeting last night someone else had their VB bag and they look exactly alike. So I don’t know who made the bags we got but they look just like the VB bag.
At Memento Mall we were able to purchase some coordinating accessories. And it is hard to resist – don’t we all love matching stuff?
There was a wallet – and it is much bigger than the wallet I have been carrying so I’ll have to figure out what to put in it. Between all the little pockets in it and all the little pockets in my bag I’m sure I’ll lose lots of things inside them……
And then the coolest thing was the little item in the box. Do you know what that is?
I had seen them before but never really looked into having one. It is a purse holder. You hang it on the edge of a table and it has a hook that holds your purse so you don’t have to set it on the floor. And this one matches our bag and has a Stampin’ Up! logo on it.
Here it is in action hanging on the edge of my kitchen table. And since I have so many nice little pockets in my bag it will have a nice little home and always be with me.

That is my little glimpse of leadership for you today. I still have more to come – although you may have already seen a lot of it since other demos are posting their pictures too. And other things that I still have to share is our trip to the Ronald McDonald house this week, my downline meeting last night (what a great time we had), and class projects from last week’s Valentine class. Lots to share….
We started construction on our sunroom/all-season room this week. Well not we – they did. Normally Greg does most of our renovating and construction projects around the house. But they take a long time and this time we are having someone else do the work and they are moving at at feverish pace compared to what Greg does. Wed/Thurs framing crew, Fri brought the electrician and today the roofers are here, Monday windows will be installed….it’s been busy and noisy around here the last few days.
Talk to you later…..

One of the fun things about Stampin’ Up! events is Memento Mall – our very own place to shop full of Stampin’ Up! Logo merchandise. They always surprise us with fun stuff and have all the displays set up with paper crafted decorations of course. This year I remembered to take pictures of the displays while I was inside shopping. I wanted to share some with you (and no I didn’t put them on an MDS scrapbook page – these are just the pictures).

Shopping Bags, T-shirt, Baja Breeze Sweater, and men's shirt

Display with Pear Pizzazz frame and samples
One display had frames decorated in each of the five In-Colors and each frame was covered with chicken wire and then had cards in the same color on display. This was the In-Color Book Mark table. It’s hard not to buy it all. Shopping is always so much fun!

I am back from the Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference in Nashville, TN. I was bound and determined to get there even through ice and snow! I am so glad that I made it and it was the best time ever! We were busy from the time we got up until the time we went to bed each and every day. I stayed an extra day for a smaller stamping event a another demonstrators house that lives near Nashville so Saturday was almost just as busy as Thursday and Friday. I got home Sunday afternoon about 5 or so, unpacked the car and dumped it all inside the house. Aspen and Magnolia were super excited to see me! I got my normal lecture from Aspen – “how could you leave me?”, “why were you gone so long?”, “don’t go back out that door”. He literally won’t let me get back out the door without coming with me – he is very determined that I won’t go out again without him. A little while later I sat on the coach – I was able to watch my recording of Grey’s Anatomy and then fell asleep. It did seem that the weather last week not only messed up the roads, the school schedule, the mail service, garbage service and UPS deliveries but apparently messed up the TV schedules – I set the DVR to record some shows while I was away and when I tried to watch some today – it was the wrong show – even though the TV listing had the right show – weird – I guess I have to try to find them on the internet.
I’ll have more stories to tell and pictures to share and all the rest of the excitement from leadership. Today I made an MDS page about Leadership Roommates. This year I shared a room with Diane, Becky and Wendy. We realized late on Friday night that we didn’t have any pictures of the four of us. Actually it was probably already Saturday morning by this time – we were up until about 3 AM. I got my camera out and remembered it had a timer so that I could set up the camera and then run over to be in the shot. Luckily it had a 10 second timer and the option to have it shoot 3 shots back to back. So that was what we did and boy were we laughing. Here is the result:

The layout for this page came from a My Digital Studio book that we were able to get at Memento Mall – I took an idea from one of the pages in there and merged it with one of the photo templates that the program has. Stampin’ Up! is releasing a Leadership Conference exclusive digital kit for MDS that is designed to go with the Leadership theme, colors and logo. I plan to us it for most of my pictures but I did want to start sharing some with you while I wait on that to become available.
Have a wonderful day!

So sorry for not posting. I thought I would have time to get back to the computer during Leadership but they kept us busy from the minute we got up until we got back to our rooms and fell down in our beds. Leadership officially ended last night about 11 o’clock. But we are up again this morning with another full day planned of stamping, friendship and fun in Nashville – although with a smaller group. I wanted to get this quick post out and I’ll tell you more about all the exciting things from leadership when I get back home tomorrow and over the next week.
This is a project I made for two different swaps – a candy wrapper swap and a Valentine WOW swap. You may recognize it from last year when I originally created this idea. I’ll share some more specific details later – I need to go now!
