Today I have a video for you! Yes I really do. Hopefully you like it. I talk pretty softly and slowly so I hope not to bore you. I think it’s a cute project and it will show you how the new 2017-2019 In-Colors compare to the colors in our existing color families. It’s always good to see them against things you already have.
This was one of the projects my Stamper’s Club made this month. It’s a set of note cards and a tin to hold them all. It would be a nice little gift or use them yourself. Here is the video for you.
The stamp set is the Wood Words set which also has a coordinating set of framelits that on this project I only used for the little tag on the tin. They probably would have been cute stamping the images and cutting them out with the coordinating shaped dies. But that’s not what I did here – I just used the Stitched Shapes framelits and cut lots and lots of little squares.
Do you have your copy of the new catalog yet? Email me at [email protected] I’d love to be your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator if you don’t already have one.
If you are local to me you can pick yours up in my classroom during class, stop by, or at my Catalog Kickoff Party & BOGO Sale on Saturday, June 17 – visit my calendar HERE.
The next color I’m introducing in the 2017-2019 In-Color Collection is Tranquil Tide.
I meant to showcase this photo with the Itty Bitty Bows with the Fresh Fig color that used these bows but I got my photos all mixed up. So even though today’s card doesn’t use these little bows I wanted to show them to you. They are pre-tied and self-adhesive and will be fun and easy to add to your projects.
Now some more about Tranquil Tide:
Tranquil Tide is an interesting blue green color and seems to take on a slightly different look depending on the other colors around it. It will be interesting to use it with different combinations of colors. It’s also featured in one of the little frames. The idea was from a card I saw online. I love how the design showcases each of the new In-Colors.
Here is a card I made:
This card might look familiar to you. I took the idea from the catalog and just made a few changes. I’ve used Tranquil Tide card stock, one of the Tranquil Tide prints from the Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper Stack. And the Tranquil Tide Finely Woven ribbon – it’s really soft.
I’ve also used a couple of other new products – the Eastern Medallions Thinlits dies and the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.
Here is a peek at this project in all 5 of the In Colors.

And the next color in the 2017-2019 In-Color Collection is Powder Pink.
One of the new items that comes in all the new In-Colors is this yummy ribbon. It is 1/2″ wide Finely Woven Ribbon. It is soft and flowing. So nice to use on projects.
Here is more about Powder Pink:
Powder Pink is very soft and subtle. In this framed project you can see the card stock and ink plus the ribbon and some designer series paper. There is also some watercoloring on the background and inside the embossed images.
Here is a card I made:
This card uses the Powder Pink cardstock and ink. One of the Powder Pink prints from the Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper Stack and the coordinating Floral Phrases stamp set. Remember the Night of Navy and White paper we had in the last catalog – this paper stack has some of those same designs just in new colors.

Are you ready to meet the next In Color from the new 2017-2019 Collection!
I’ve been creating with the new In Colors and this brand new Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack. It’s a 12×12 stack with 2 double-sided designs in each of the 5 new In Colors. I’ve almost used up a full pack of 40 sheets!!
Here is the next In Color I’ featuring today:
Fresh Fig is deep and moody. In this framed project you can see the card stock and ink plus the ribbon and some designer series paper. There is also some watercoloring on the background and inside the embossed images.
Here is a card I made:
This card uses the Fresh Fig cardstock and ink. One of the Fresh Fig prints from the Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper Stack and the cute little Fresh Fig Bitty Bow. These are little felt bows already tied and with adhesive to quickly add a little fun to your project.
I’ve also used the new Colorful Seasons stamp set and the Stitched Shapes Framelits – remember those from the end of last year – they are in the new catalog too.

Here is a little project I made with the Berry Burst card stock and ribbon:
I’ve used two additional new products in this project – the Daisy punch and the Berry Burst 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon.
