Oh my gosh – it has been three days and no blog posts from me! Sorry about that. I’ll have projects for you all week so come back every day. Saturday night I had my demonstrator meeting and it was so much fun! I love getting together with all of these ladies – we had a good time and Cindy Schuster did an awesome presentation for us on My Digital Studio Hybrid projects and then we made two scrapbook pages that I’ll share later this week. I showed everyone about the new Triple Punches in the Stampin’ Up! Summer Mini Catalog and I’m going to show you the card that I designed for everyone to make. I combined two different ideas from Stampin’ Up! – I really liked the look of the scrapbook page in the Summer Mini catalog – page 6. And then an Easel card that was in our Stampin’ Success magazine. And here it is:
I liked the fact that it is an easel card so that you can set it out for everyone to see the different punched pieces that you get from the two new punches. This picture shows the card standing up – the front panel with the Hello Blossoms is on the inside of the card and attached with dimensionals. The front of the card is scored and has a second panel – the one you can see here with all the punch flowers attached to it. When you fold the front at the score the panel pops up and you tuck it behind the inside piece to make it stand up. Did that make any sense at all? Here is a side view –
The two punches are the Doily Triple Layer Punch and the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch. The colors I used are Old Olive, Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Rose Red, and Blushing Bride. There are lots of different combinations that you can create with all these punched pieces. I hope you like it!
Come back tomorrow for this weeks UDI Color Challenge.
