It was time to make more tags this week so I used some of the items that were already on my craft table from another card project (I’ll show that one later).
These tags are bright and colorful and very fun. I used Wild Wasabi card stock – and to determine the size for this tag what I really did was evenly divide a piece of 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock – so that would be 4-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ tags and you get 8 from a piece of card stock.
I used the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Sweet Summer and stamped on the Wild Wasabi with Garden Green ink – the reason I used Garden Green ink was because the Wild Wasabi ink was already packed up for a different class and I didn’t want to get it back out. The Garden Green is a little bit darker and worked great for the background stamping. On the bottom I added the “thanks” from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set So Happy For You.
Then I punched with the Ribbon Border punch a piece of Melon Mambo and attached that to the back of a piece of Peach Parfait Designer Series patterns paper. That was glued on the tag above the thanks. Then I punched butterflies out of the First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper. On the butterflies (I’m not sure you can see it in this picture) I stamped one of the flower images from Sweet Summer using Peach Parfait ink. In the center of each butterfly is a Melon Mambo punch out using the Punch Bunch flower punch. Two butterflies were attached to the front of each tag and I curled the wings up just a little bit on each one.
This is a stepped-up version of the tag. I added Melon Mambo buttons to the centers of the butterflies. These come from the Sale-A-Bration Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon and Button Pack. I tied some white crochet thread through the buttons. I also used the thread for my hangers for the tags.
I added the regular tags to all of my orders that have come in this week. I hope you like it.
And for today’s Spring Bingo pieces we have – not one but two snails! Here they are –
Have a great weekend!
