This pocket card idea was a demonstration that Richard Garay did on stage at the Leadership conference.  Yes he is a guy and he is a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator!  Richard demonstrated how to make this pocket card.  It has two pockets – for this one I made an insert for the top pocket and left the lower pocket empty.  You could stick a gift card in there or a picture or some money.

I used the Sweet Stitches Designer Series paper to cover each panel on the front of the card.  The insert was stamped with the matching Button, Button stamp set.

The front is decorated with the Sweet Buttons Embosslit and a trimmed Round Tab punch covered with some embroidery floss.

The card base is Wild Wasabi, the border trim is Daffodil Delight, then the decorations are in Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango.

Yesterday was stressful with too many people doing too many things around our house.  I am having my class in the morning and they appear to me done painting the ceiling on the inside – yeah! The electrician hung the lights.  And the gutters have been removed from the house.  Today they’ll be back but they will be working outside.  I have pictures on my facebook page of the construction progress.  Talk to you later.
