Look at how cute these turned out –
These are all the In-Color Ribbons for the July Ribbon share. I like to do something fun with the cut ribbon for the ribbon share. And this was what I decided on for the 1/2″ Stitched-Poly Ribbon.
I used my Two Tags Die for the Big Shot and cut matching tags for each color ribbon. These happen to be the five new In-Colors for this year – Blushing Bride, Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz.
I actually glued two tags together so that there is a scallop on each end. The lower one is stamped with the Punched Posies Level 2 Hostess stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Summer Mini Catalog. The top is printed on my computer and punched with the Scallop Circle punch. I added some doodles with the matching Stampin’ Write Markers.
I have decided that the person that came up with the names for the new Stampin’ Up! colors must have been hungry – Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Concord Crush, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler – it just sounds like they had food on their mind! Perhaps sitting on the balcony overlooking the water (Marina Mist), talking to a friend about a wedding (Blushing Bride) and the flowers (Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight)…..do you ever wonder how they decide on the names?
I have a new ribbon share for August – the 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon – 13 colors.
Have a colorful day! Thanks for stopping by today.
Is it too late to sign up for this share? If not, sign me up. Very cute.
Wow, these are great! What a fab idea to use those dies for the ribbon! tfs
Monica, is your ribbon shares open for anyone to participate in, and if so how much do you charge?
