Happy Halloween!  I hope that I have already posted all of my Halloween projects – I need to go back and look through my stuff to see what all I made….. in any case I thought I would share a scrapbook layout with you.  Now that Halloween is here, there will be pictures made that need to be scrapped.  I’m not really sure that I will have any though – so I may pull off that 2011 and change to something else – two in college and the third in high school – dressing up and trick-or-treating is not high on the list at our house.  Or I could take pictures of the kids coming to my house – or get pictures of my niece and nephew – now that is what I really need.  So now that I have rambled on lets get to the layout – we made it on Friday at my monthly Scrapbook Class –

The idea for the layout came from a scrapbook magazine – it was a single page that I stretched……

I used the Pick Your Poison Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini catalog.  And the colors that coordinate ate Basic Black, Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla.  I also used Basic Gray with my layout since a lot of the paper had the black faded out.

Stamp sets used are House of Haunts, Baroque Motifs and Warmest of Wishes (the Hostess set in the Holiday Mini catalog).

I cut strips of DSP in varying lengths and widths  – 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″ wide.

The swirls stamped write over the top of the papers after they were glued down.  The house is stamped and cut out and a moon is punched with the 1-3/8″ circle punch and glued behind the house.  I also colored in the windows with the Peach Parfait Stampin’ Write Maker to give them some spooky light inside.

The owl from Warmest of wishes was stamp in Pumpkin Pie ink on Very Vanilla card stock and punched out and then stamped on Peach Parfait card stock with Basic Black ink to cut out the trick or treat bag which is put on top of the punched out owl with a stampin’ dimensional.  I colored in the eyes and nose with a black marker.

The title is cut with the Big Shot and the Timeless Type Junior alphabet set.  And today is the last day that you can get the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine for FREE!  Really – you can – when you sign up as a demonstrator today you get the full starter kit plus a free Big Shot (or $100 in product).  You can sign up today directly on my website!  Don’t miss it!
