Here is another Stampin’ Up! Convention Swap for you today.
This one features the new Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper. I cut strips from different patterns and attached them to a Chocolate Chip card base.
I tied the Real Red Satin ribbon around the card. Thanks to my friend Lisa who traded some ribbon with me so I could finish my swaps!
I had to take a close up picture of the flower because it didn’t show up well in the photo. I used the flower image from the Friends Never Fade stamp set. I used the Stampin’ Write Markers to color the image – Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz and Real Red. Then I used my paper piercer to pierce a hole on either side of the flower stem and threaded a piece of linen thread through and tied it in a little bow. I love to add linen thread to my projects. I sponged some Chocolate Chip ink around the edges.
At the bottom I added the greeting inside the small oval. It is actually a simple card but takes some time to hand color the stamp each time.
I love the pop of red on this card. I hope my convention swaps are big hits at convention.
Have a great day!
I love this one. You did a great job. What is the punch you sed on happy birthday? And what is the stamp set? I love the card and would like to make one. Thanks for showing it.
