This was a card that I made at the stamp class I attended at Christina Crawford’s house when I went to Virginia. This is a quick fall card using the stamp set Falling Leaves in the Stampin’ Up! 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog.
The Designer Series paper is called Autumn Traditions. The colors are Elegant Eggplant, More Mustard, Always Artichoke and we used Dusty Durango. The background is the Woodgrain stamp but you could also use the Big Shot and add the wood grain texture using the Texture Plates Kit #4.
Saturday is a busy day – Greg & Ryan are playing in a Parent/Child Tennis Tournament in the morning. It is a fund raiser for the High School Tennis team. I can’t wait to watch and see how they play together. I’ll be taking my camera. Kyle is going to the county Science Olympiad competition. He has been working on his projects all night – why he waits until the night before – I just don’t know. He did the same thing last year. In any case I hope his team does well. Greg is playing golf in the afternoon. Tyler has a driving lesson in the afternoon through the driving school where he took his Driver’s Ed class this summer. They don’t include Driver’s Ed in our high schools like they did when I was in school. Ryan has a soccer game in the evening. And I am going to a group meeting at my uplines house. I’m sure I missed something – but any way it will be a busy day.
The football team lost so football season has come to an end. Now concert season begins (actually they already started on their music a couple of weeks ago).
It’s a busy time but someone has to do it. Be grateful for what you have. I’ll be back tomorrow. I have projects to share from my Big Shot class that I had on Friday. It was lots of fun.
