Not sure about you but I seem to have a lot of Fall birthdays in my family.  And let’s just say that even though I make tons of cards I’m not very good at actually getting them in the mail to people.  Bad me.  I was doing a pretty good job of leaving digital birthday cards on friend and family Facebook pages as they pop up every day.  But then I took that trip to Alaska and while I was gone and since I’ve been back I haven’t really been doing that either.  Bad me.  So I owe a lot of people birthday wishes.  Now to come up with a plan to tackle this problem.  What do you do to keep up with birthdays and do you send cards out to everyone – or just to family?

So speaking of Fall birthdays I do have a nice card that would work for anyone – and it’s a good masculine card or teen card which can be hard to create at times.

A couple of tips for this card.

  • Cut the circle in the Designer Series Paper
  • Turn the paper upside down and lay it on the Very Vanilla card stock and stamp the greeting – this way you won’t accidentally stamp on the front of the designer paper when you position the words inside.  And if you don’t like your first try – turn the Vanilla card stock over and try it again.
  • Attach the Designer Paper right side up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Use one of the frame wooden pieces and tie it on with the linen thread.

fall-birthday2Thanks for stopping by today. Let me know your system for birthday cards and actually getting them sent out.  One idea for everyone else is to attend my Card Maker’s Class each month.  You can make the cards you need for the upcoming month.  Now I just need to figure out actually getting them out in the mail.
