It’s my Stampiversary and I want to celebrate with you. I found some photos from 2006 at my very first convention with Stampin’ Up! When I started I didn’t really know anyone and traveled alone to Utah and walked into the hotel room to meet my room mate – Michele from Iowa – we are still friends today! A very exciting part of the event was meeting Shelli Gardner the co-founder of Stampin’ Up! and CEO at that time. Now her daughter Sara is the CEO. over these 15 years I have met 100s of friends (maybe more like 1000+) from all over the world and these women are so amazing and creative! It’s been an amazing journey and I’m so excited to continue for another 15 years (goodness knows how old I will be then!)

Bon Voyage!
The Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip is finally here. And the group of earning demonstrators are heading out to sea. I want to thank my customers, my team members, my friends and my family for being such a support system to me. Without all of you I wouldn’t be able to do this. I don’t consider myself to be a brave traveler. Stampin’ Up! has allowed me the opportunity to travel places I might not have ever gone too. Being inside the Stampin’ Up! bubble makes me feel better. I’m anxious and excited at the same time when I travel on these trips. Greg and I plan to relax and enjoy ourselves and spend time with others in the Stampin’ Up! family. Know that today a friend is thinking of you. Isn’t that such a nice thing to say? You could use it for so many different things. It happens to be one of the stamps in the Part of My Story Sale-A-Bration stamp set. And I’ve used it here on this card.
I made these cards as a swap for my January team meeting. It’s full of some beautiful products that I love but a pretty simple looking card. I’ve actually used three different Sale-A-Bration products on here – the Part of My Story stamp set for the greeting, the Organdy Ribbon, and the wood butterfly elements. The Organdy Ribbon has turned out to be the most popular Sale-A-Bration item I think in all of Stampin’ Up! History and quickly sold right through the full supply plus two back up orders! I’m still hoping that we might be able to get some more near the end of the Sale-A-Bration promotion so I’ll be keeping my eye open and post on my Facebook page if that happens. If it does it will sell out quickly again.
One of the Occasions catalog product that I used was the cute Gingham Designer Paper which comes in five different colors. And they match all those ribbons in that Organdy Ribbon pack. You can could switch up the colors for this card and make a rainbow of them. Another favorite new item I used was the Stitched Rectangle framelits. I actually cut out a bunch of rectangles for a different card but the neat thing about these dies is they also add stitching on the outside part that creates the frame. Nobody wants to waste cute frames so they became part of this card.

Before I went on the Alaska incentive trip I had a weekend Getaway with my PAWS team. We had a blast and I’ll be sharing the special pillow gifts I made for everyone at the event. Each table had a name plate that I made using the Lined Alphabet set.

I’m back with another project using the Perennial Birthday stamp set. Apparently I’m not good at spelling the word Perennial – I have to look it up every time. So now I’ve added a book mark to my catalog for this week. This project is one I actually made earlier this year when this set came out in the Occasions Catalog. It’s still one of my favorite little boxes.
All the supplies are still available in our catalog except for the Dapper Denim card stock and ink that I used. But this could easily be changed to Night of Navy or even the new Blueberry Bushel. I water colored with an Aqua Painter to decorate the box and took my color combination from the kit box that the stamp set coordinated with.
