The Carols of Christmas Bundle from the upcoming Holiday Catalog is available now – it’s an early release. Here are a couple of cards that I’ve made with it.
Here are a couple of cards that I made with this bundle
Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas, Holiday Catalog 2017, Monika Davis
For this card I used Be Merry Designer Series Paper in the Annual Catalog, Thick Whisper White card stock and Vellum card stock. I stamped with the Archival Black ink on the Vellum which needs some time to dry. You can also use this idea and instead of the Designer Paper under the vellum use a family photo.
Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle, Holiday Catalog 2017 Monika Davis
For this card I used the Thick Whisper White card stock, Early Espresso Card stock and regular Whisper White card stock. Plus the trees are cut from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
The Carols of Christmas Bundle is part of a mega suite in the Holiday Catalog called Merry Little Christmas. Perfect products for all your Christmas creations from tags and cards to gift packaging and memory keeping.
And don’t forget if you earned a Bonus Days Coupon in July be sure to use it by August 31st – that’s next week. You can use it for this new bundle!
The new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog is coming September 1st! A perk of being a demonstrator means we get to see it early and purchase products early. I’d love to talk to you about being a demonstrator and part of my team. Today on my blog I’m sharing a sneak peek from the Merry Little Christmas Suite. It’s actually a mega suite. It has 2 stamp set bundles – one with a punch and one with a die set, two Designer Series Paper packs, and lots of fun embellishments in one big suite of coordinating products. Here is just a little peek for you.
I used the Clear Tiny Treat boxes to make this fun little treat. There are several new products on here from the Merry Little Christmas suite.

White Chocolate cashew clusters. They are yummy!
The Carols of Christmas stamp set and Card Front Builder Thinlits dies are also part of this suite. And guess what? You can buy those right now! You don’t have to wait until Sept. 1st. They are available as an early release.
Today got away from me. Mostly because I was focused on the route that my youngest son Ryan had to take to drive back to college. We are in Georgia and he is going to Purdue University in Indiana. So he drove from home to Chattanooga, to Nashville, to Bowling Green, Louisville, Indianapolis and then West Lafayette. The problem was the snow storm coming across mostly through Kentucky. Somehow I think he managed to miss most of the snow – he had some snow but not as much as I feared. And my oldest flew home today back to Seattle – he flight was a little delayed and apparently there is some snow in Seattle too. And then we have snow expected tomorrow so I’ve moved my stamp club to meet on Sunday afternoon instead of Friday and Saturday.
So on to this quick little project that I have – I wished I had shared it earlier with you. But better late than never. You can use this idea for next year. It’s a little Santa Wish List project. It was actually one of the little pillow gifts that I gave to the girls that came to my fall Stamp, Scrap, & Create Retreat.
I was planning to cut index cards to put on a ring but then I found these little index card rings at the store and just bought a whole bunch of them – saved me a ton of time!
I replaced the front and back cover. The front cover is Real Red with a piece of Whisper White that I die cut with the Detailed Santa Thinlits and carefully glued down and trimmed to the size of the card. I stamped the words using the Labeler Alphabet set and cut those out. Then added Emerald Envy Ribbon to the ring. Both the front and back are covered with a window sheet (you can’t really see it here since its clear!).
Anyway that’s all. Now back to watching the weather……
Last month I received this cute little mummy treat from my friend Linda. I loved it so much that I decided I wanted to use the idea for treats at the crop I did earlier this month. I decided to make little scarecrows for fall and each one has a butterscotch candy in it. I made probably 60-70 of them. But it was hard to stop and I had some left over lifesaver candies sitting around too. So I took the rest of the Cookie Cutter images and made one from each character. These are quick and easy little treats/thank yous that you could make for a group of people.
My scarecrow is on Very Vanilla card stock and stamped with the Archival Black ink pad and then I watercolored with my aqua painter – Dapper Denim for his clothes, and Sahara Sand on his face. I used my Stampin’ Write Markers for his patches and hat – Delightful Dijon and Pumpkin Pie. I punched out a plain Delightful Dijon cookie cutter and stapled the butterscotch candy between the two. These will actually stand up.
One tip I’ll share if you want to make a bunch of these is to create a template for your stamping. Since this is a builder punch you can’t just stamp a row and punch them out – you have to leave space in between for the builder pieces in the punch. Here are a couple of pictures to show you what I mean. I hope that is helpful.
And if you want to see the rest of the gang that I made (except the mummy that Linda gave me) her you go….
This is a really fun bundle of products and becomes a bit addictive if you aren’t careful!
