Apr 20, 2020 | Achievers Blog Hop, Cards, To-Go Class |
Hello – it’s Monika Davis from the USA. I’m joining the Maui Trip Achievers Blog Hop this month. This blog hop is for demonstrator all over the world that earned the Maui Incentive trip last year. There are many amazing stampers in this group so be sure to visit the other blogs in the hop. The list is down below. I’m so excited to have earned this incentive trip and go on one of my bucket list trips. A special thanks to my customers and team members for supporting me throughout the year. Greg tells me all the time that he can’t believe the places we have been able to see because of Stampin’ Up! – now to achieve the next one……

This month we have an early release from our upcoming Stampin’ Up! Catalog. It is the Ornate Garden Suite and it is full of beautiful products. Two stamp set and die bundles, a specialty designer series paper, an embossing folder, a ribbon combo pack and some shiny gilded gems. Today’s card is one I shared last week on my Facebook live. You can watch my FB Live from April 13th to see how I made this card a a couple of others – https://www.facebook.com/AtMonikasPlace/videos/576835672927289/
So Grateful Ornate Garden Card

I used the Stamparatus to help with this card. Use the step feature I was able to stamp the large “So Grateful” all the way down my piece of card stock and keep it all perfectly lined up. Then I added my small words in between each one. I trimmed the Whisper White panel very close and then added it to the card front over a piece of the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Hello. I’m joining the Maui Trip Achievers Blog Hop this month. It’s my first time to hop with this group and the first month of the Maui Trip Achievers Blog Hop. I’m so excited to have earned this incentive trip and go on one of my bucket list trips. And equally excited to join this blog hop for the first time – let’s hope that I got everything right!

This was one of the projects that we made at my Fall Retreat earlier this month. It’s a quick project and can easily be adapted for other holiday’s or occasions. You can watch my FB Live from October 14th to see how I made this fun tic tac holders – https://www.facebook.com/AtMonikasPlace/videos/2198657496906978/

Oct 25, 2016 | 2016 Holiday Catalog, Achievers Blog Hop, Big Shot, Stamp, Scrap, & Create Retreat |
Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for October. This is our first hop with those that have earned the incentive trip with Stampin’ Up!® to Thailand next July. This month our theme is the “Inspired by Nature” as many of us live in different areas around the world and have amazing seasons that we are enjoying. Plus the nature in Thailand is just incredible so we are inspired by our trip too. I’m very excited to be a part of this exclusive group of demonstrators!!
UPDATE: My blog is not part of the hop anymore – sorry – my blog platform won’t play nice with the others. So I’ll just share my project and hopefully you can get on to one of the other hoppers sites and go through the hop all the way.
Here in Georgia in the United States it is Fall/Autumn. The leaves on the trees are changing into a variety of colors and they and the acorns are falling everywhere right now. So my projects were inspired by that. I created these for the Fall Retreat I just had at my home this past weekend. Everyone received this as one of their little gifts at their table – a bag of trail mix and a water bottle with a cute hanging tag.
I used the Moroccan Designer Series Paper for this project along with the Leaflets Framelits and the Cheerful Tags Framelits. I love the little copper pine cones in our holiday catalogs – I tied those to my leaves with some Linen Thread. And behind the leaves is a little bunch of our Copper Thread. Here is a closer look at each one.

I die cut the leaves our of Delightful Dijon card stock and the Moroccan Designer Paper then I left the framelit on the die cut and traced around the inside of the leaf. I really like how it adds some definition to the leaves.

The trail mix is inside one of the 2×8″ cello bags that are in the annual catalog. I stapled the tag over the top of the filled bag. And then covered the staples with the leaves. The little tags on each project are 1/4″ strips of Very Vanilla card stock but I die cut the end with the leaf die so I could tie it into the bundle of leaves.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
