Earlier today I co-hosted a bridal luncheon for my soon to be sister-in-law. It was at a cafe here in Key West. I created these little favors for everyone.
Inside each Curvy Keepsake Box were Key Lime White Chocolate Chip cookies. Yummy!
Lunch was great. The photos though are all on my regular camera and not my phone. I’m still blogging from my phone so I can’t share those right now.
Thanks for stopping by!

I think I’ve told you before that I really love the Tiny Treat Boxes that were introduced in our Holiday catalog and carried over into our Occasions catalog. Here is another little project I created using those little boxes. I created these You’re a Gem boxes for a swap that I did at the Leadership conference.
I filled them with some chocolate truffles – yum!
Each little box was wrapped with a piece of the Gold print paper from the Gold Soiree Designer Series Specialty Paper Pack. Each end of the strip was punched with the Scallop tag topper punch. The ends are tied together with a piece of the Calypso Coral ribbon from the Sale-A-Bration accessory pack.
I added a tag and some fun trim pieces to finish the box – Gold Sequins and Calypso Coral Pom-pom trim. Here is some more about the tag – I used the One Tag Fits All stamp set.
- stamp the tag image in Calypso Coral ink on Whisper White card stock punch out with the Note Tag Punch. I didn’t like the white edge that was left so I used a Stampin’ Write Marker to go around the edge of the tag.
- stamp the You’re a Gem image in Versamark ink and covered with Gold Embossing powder and heat set.
- I stamped the gem again on another piece of white, embossed it and then cut it out. I used the 2-way glue pen to put glue in the center of the gem and then covered it with the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I added that on top of the other one with a Stampin’ Dimensional – this give it more dimension.
- the tag is tied on with the ribbon and the gold sequins and pomp-pom trim are added in
These turned out to be such pretty little gold treats.
Thanks for stopping by today. I’m at home bracing for what we consider a big snow storm. I know for many people our storm is nothing but when you really don’t get any snow – a little snow if a big deal. One projection should us getting 7 inches this afternoon and tonight. I think the last report I saw had us at 4-5. For right this minute though there is nothing new – not even rain yet. But they say its coming and its big. So we shall see….
