Last weekend I did a birthday party for Natalie. We had a fun all girls afternoon. Natalie had three friends come over for her party and her mom, Becky, and I. I showed the girls how to make their very own Paper Bag Scrapbook and then we made little purses using the Big Shot die-cut machine. Back in June when Becky was planning the birthday party she said that Natalie loved pink and green so we went through the catalog to find the perfect paper – it turned out to be the Raspberry Tart Designer Series paper and the girls all loved it. I used the same pack pf paper for their scrapbooks and their purses. The scrapbook was one I had designed a couple of years ago and uses an old Stampin’ Up! stamp set that I still think is perfect for this project. The paper bag scrapbook is full of pockets and the stamp set is about pockets and friends and how you can never have too many. Here are some pictures from this fun after noon and a close up of the two projects we made.
It was so nice to hear the comments from the girls as they made their projects. They all said this was the best party they had ever been too.
For the Top Note purse the girls got to use the Big Shot die-cut machine. They lined up and ran their paper through for the different dies – we used the Top Note and the Flower Daisies die. The girls thought it was so cool how their shapes popped right out after they rolled the paper through the machine.
Becky, Natalie’s mom, wants to do this for her own birthday next year.
Making mini scrapbooks is a fun project and there are endless ideas out there. The paper bag scrapbook is just one and is perfect for little girls.
Have fun stamping with your friends! And if you want to have a birthday party let me know.

This was the best birthday party Natalie has ever had or been too. She is still talking about it. She loves crafting and has been scrapbooking with me for a few years, so this was perfect for her. Any girls who love artwork would love this party!
