I thought I would try something new – it’s going to be a Try it Tuesday post on Tuesdays.  Today I’m sharing with you another way to use your clear blocks.  They are made to mount photopolymer and clear-mount rubber stamps on but they are useful for some other things too.  For this little trick today we are using the edge of the block as a stamp to create parallel lines on your card. Here is a look at the finished card –

The lines on the Crumb Cake strip in the background were made with my H block.  Stampin’ Up! blocks have these nice grooved sides that make lines when you put them in your ink pad.  You can even make plaid patterns by turning the block in one direction and then the other direction.

I used the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set for this card.  The stamp set is currently part of a bundle with the Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies.  The individual items are staying in the new catalog but the bundle is retiring.
