Hey everyone! It’s Thursday and time for a new weekly challenge at Create with Connie & Mary. This week we have a color challenge – Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, and Lucky Limeade – some very rich looking colors.
This card idea came from a sample in the Stampin’ Success magazine. The magazine sample used different stamps and different colors but a similar layout and I really liked the bottom that resembled a picket fence. So I decided to use the idea for my card this week. Then I added this card to my Card Maker’s club that I had yesterday.
To make the picket fence I first punched the scallop edge on my strip of card stock. Then I used the Simply Scored Tool to score in between each scallop. Next I folded on all the score lines and I ran each fold through my Whisper White craft ink pad.

Great card!! Love the picket fence – very creative!! The white craft pad is a great way to define slat!
Thanks Deb!
Really cute card. I like the fence idea. Might be a good card to CASE for an upcoming class.
I used it for a class and everyone seemed to like it. You could change the colors.
I, too, love the fence! Especially the “weathered” look with the Whisper White ink! Nice!
Thanks Melissa!

Great card. Love the way you did the picket fence and the flowers. TFS
What a cute idea with the fence and I love the little scenery you created behind it!
That fence is so cool! The flowers and flourish really look like pretty flowers growing over the garden fence!
