Do you like the cute little Tasty Trucks stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration brochure? It’s quite cute! Here in the town I live in we have a place called Truck & Tap. It’s in downtown Woodstock in one of the old buildings – well the tap part is – the bar and the tables. In the back of the building is a parking spot for a food truck. Every day a different food truck pulls in and serves the food for that day. It has become quite popular. Often on Saturdays they have lobster truck come in – that’s the one we like! But this little stamp set doesn’t have any lobsters – I may need to get some from another set and make a lobster truck!
So on to my card today – my truck is a hotdog truck!
These are the parts that I started with –
- Dapper Denim card stock base.
- Dapper Denim embossed layer – I used the Sparkle embossing folder
- Whisper White piece
- Tangerine Tango piece
And I used the Tasty Trucks stamp set and created this
Since you can only get the Tasty Trucks as a free item when you spend $50 here is your $50 shopping list of items for this project:
- Banner Triple Punch #138292 $23
- Sparkle Embossing Folder #141468 $7.50
- InColor Markers 2016-2018 #141393 $15
- Archival Black Stamp pad #140931 $7
I also used markers from the neutrals and brights. Alternately you could use an Aqua-painter and your ink pads to color the truck.
The truck set comes with hot dogs, tacos, cup cakes, ice cream and pancakes. It would be a fun element on a scrapbook page. I wonder when we will start hearing the ice cream truck in our neighborhood.
Have a great day stamping!
