Feb 8, 2018 | 2018 Occasions Catalog, 2018 Sale-A-Bration, Big Shot, Bingo |
I wanted to share a recap of my Bubble Over Bingo event at the end of January. It was so much fun! I had a full house with all 12 seats in my little classroom taken. Everyone had fun playing Bingo games and making their projects. I also made everyone a little table treat for when they arrived and a little thank you gift. Everyone had a goody bag with the Bubble Over stamp set, Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes and supplies for their projects. The prize winners also went home with additional goodies – like the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits Dies, card stock packs, ribbon, Bubbles & Fizz Designer Paper and more. Everybody went home with something fun. I hope you’ll join me the next time I have a Bingo event.
Here are some photos from the day:
Here is a close up of the little Bottle Cap Treats that were on the table for everyone. I actually found bottle cap candy to go in them.

Items that I used to make these:
- Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-Bration item)
- Bubble Over stamp set
- Bottles & Bubbles Framelit dies
- Stitched Shapes Framelit dies
- Layering Circle Framelit dies
- Shimmer Ribbon Pack (Sale-a-Bration item)
- Whisper White Baker’s Twine
- 1/16″ Handheld punch
- Bermuda Bay Card stock & ink
- Daffodil Delight ink
- Lemon Lime Twist ink
- Whisper White card stock
- Silver Foil
- Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes
- Big Shot
- Adhesive
- 3×6 gusseted Cellophane Bag (the candy is inside that)
And this was the little thank you treat everyone received – a Coke branded lip balm was inside each little bottle box.

Items that I used for these:
- Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-Bration item)
- Bottles & Bubbles Framelit dies
- Whisper White Baker’s Twine
- Card stock – Bermuda Bay, Basic Gray, Lemon Lime Twist, Calypso Coral
- Silver Foil
- Big Shot
- Adhesive
- Simply Scored
They were fun to make. Everyone also made three different cards using the Bubbles & Fizz bundle of products. I’ll share those in another post since this one is getting long. The grand prize winner was Jacquie and she had enough Stampin’ Rewards to get the Brusho Crystal Color assortment, and a bundle from the Occasions catalog as her free items.
A fun time was had by all!

Feb 1, 2018 | Cards, valentine |
This Little Piggy sure does make a cute Valentine.
The stamp set This Little Piggy in the annual catalog has lots of potential for Valentine’s Day. There is the Hogs & Kisses and Loves You and even the You Make Me Happy – I think all could be perfect for Valentine’s Day. One of the things that I did with my stamp set – which is the clear mounted rubber – is that I cut my words apart from the Piggy images. Then I could mix and match any way that I wanted. If I want to use them together as designed I just mount them on the block together. Here is a cute little card that I made.

This one is perfect for Valentine’s or for any time to say I Love you. You can easily change it to a Thank You card by using the “Says, Thanks” image instead. There are even kissy lips in there to go along with the Hog & Kisses. Have fun with this little piggy!
Other items I used on this card:
- Very Vanilla Thick Card stock
- Very Vanilla Card stock
- Blushing Bride Card Stock
- Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies & Big Shot
- 1″ Circle punch
- Memento Black Ink
- Old Olive Baker’s Twine
- Old Olive Blends Marker
- Dots Embossing Folder
- Subtles Enamel Shapes
- plus adhseive
Thanks for stopping by!

Jan 25, 2018 | Paper Pumpkin, Valentine's Day |
It’s time for the January Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop sharing alternate ideas for the January 2018 kit – Heartfelt Love Notes. This kit has a fun Valentine/Love Themed stamp set and is packed with supplies for 16 cards that you can add a little treat to.

I went really simple this time for my alternate idea. I haven’t yet had a chance to put my kit together or even play with it. I was running out of time to create something yesterday and by the time I was done it was dark. So my photos are not the best – they are always better when I take them in the day light.

For my project I decided to make some little notes using the stamp set and ink plus a couple of left over bits from the kit and a few other products that I had in my craft room. I had the new Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes on my table so I grabbed some of those to create my alternate idea. They are small – 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″.
If you save the vellum from your kit after you punch out the die cut pieces you can use that as a mask and sponge a heart on the little note card and on the envelope. Be careful along the edges or grab another scrap or two to cover up anything you don’t want sponged on the outside of the heart. I used a Stampin’ Sponge and Flirty Flamingo ink. On the instruction sheet for the Paper Pumpkin kit it gives you a list of coordinating colors. You could use a different color of pink ink too.
I stamped the words in the Rich Razzleberry ink that came with the kit. Then I grabbed my Cookie Cutter Builder Punch to punch a little heart from the left over Flirty Flamingo sticker sheet scraps. You could also use a little tiny heart die cut or another punch with a tiny heart. Stampin’ Up! has had various ones over the years. I added the little heart to the notecard – you don’t even need adhesive since its from the sticker scraps.
I sponged and stamped the envelopes too. That’s it – super simple!
The Paper Pumpkin kits are a fun little escape and everyone comes up with so many creative ways to stretch them. Its a perfect crafty gift any time of year – the kits come with everything and new subscribers will get the clear block in their first box. You can Sign Up yourself or someone else Here. Sign up by Feb. 10th to receive the February kit.
And now it’s time to move on and see the rest of the gang’s creativity! Next up is Carolynn Sander. Just click on her name or the next button to visit her blog. I always love her scrapbook ideas using the Paper Pumpkin kits. I can’t wait to see what she has created with this one.

Here is the rest of the Blog Hop List in case you get lost along the hop or just want to jump around.
Thanks for visiting.
