Label Me Pretty Birthday

The new Pretty Label Punch is quickly becoming one of my new go to punches.  If you pair it with the coordinating Label Me Pretty stamp set (they are available as a bundle) you can make some quick cards and tags.

Today I have a quick and easy birthday card.  It’s a great little layout perfect for using up some strips of designer paper and/or ribbon or even use washi tape.

This card features the new Berry Burst In-Color but also includes 3 other In-colors.  I used the In-Color Stampin’ Write Markers for 2017-2019 to color the stamped image – Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Powder Pink and Lemon Lime Twist.

Underneath the stamped & punched image are little strips of Designer Paper from the Fresh Florals Designer series Paper stack – I used all 4 of the Berry Burst Prints and then added a little piece of the Berry Burst Woven Ribbon.  I finished the cards with some Rhinestone jewels.

This would be an easy card to switch out to different colors using other strips of paper that are on your craft table.  Enjoy!

Thanks for checking in today.

Here are a couple of cards that I made with this bundle

Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas, Holiday Catalog 2017, Monika Davis

For this card I used Be Merry Designer Series Paper in the Annual Catalog, Thick Whisper White card stock and Vellum card stock.  I stamped with the Archival Black ink on the Vellum which needs some time to dry.  You can also use this idea and instead of the Designer Paper under the vellum use a family photo.

Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas Bundle, Holiday Catalog 2017 Monika Davis

For this card I used the Thick Whisper White card stock, Early Espresso Card stock and regular Whisper White card stock.  Plus the trees are cut from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

The Carols of Christmas Bundle is part of a mega suite in the Holiday Catalog called Merry Little Christmas.  Perfect products for all your Christmas creations from tags and cards to gift packaging and memory keeping.

And don’t forget if you earned a Bonus Days Coupon in July be sure to use it by August 31st – that’s next week.  You can use it for this new bundle!

More Coffee Cafe

Yesterday’s Coffee Cafe card was super simple and used only the stamp set.  Today’s card adds a few more products from the suite.  The Coffee Break Designer Series Paper and the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies.

This time I stamped the coffee cup and the lid and cut them out with the coordinating die set.  Plus that little heart shaped stopper.  Honestly since I don’t drink coffee I’m really not sure what that thing is called – but I guess it keeps anything from spilling out of the hole in the top of the lid. It’s a little bit hard to see against the Designer Paper background – but it really is there.  I also added the Garden Green Stitched Satin Ribbon – which isn’t part of the suite but matches perfectly with it in m opinion.

For this card you could really use any of the prints in the Designer Paper for the background piece. Here is a look at all the designs.

Happiness is …

Happiness is a really fun suite of products from Stampin’ Up!  Have you seen the Coffee Break Suite on pages 30 & 31 in the Stampin’ Up! catalog?  I’m not actually a coffee drinker but I still love this suite of products.  A fun stamp set with coordinating Framelits – available as a bundle to save you a little.  Use that savings to go get yourself a cup of coffee. There is also Designer Paper, Embellishments, a card stock pack and ribbons. Plus coming soon in the Holiday Catalog is another coordinating stamp set that stretches this suite through the fall and winter holidays!

Today I have a quick and simple card for you using only the Coffee Cafe stamp set.

The Photopolymer stamp set makes it easy to line everything up when stamping.  I stamp the cup first and then the words.  And let me tell you a trick with the cup – really with any of the photopolymer stamps that are open in the center – they are very easy to bend and manipulate on a block into a shape other than how they are made.  In order to make sure you get the cup image as it was intended lay the stamp on the table so it keeps its natural shape and then place your block on top of it and pick it up.

The Garden Green layer is embossed with the new Polka Dot Basics Textured Embossing Folder.  It just adds some texture to the background.  I also added some Linen Thread – its’ my favorite!

Does coffee make you happy?

Daisy Delight Bundle

The new Stampin’ Up! Daisy punch has been outselling every other punch for the last 5 years and it’s only been available for a few months now. It is currently in stock but once again showing as low inventory.  So if you didn’t already buy it and you have it on your wish list you may want to go ahead and get it now. It’s also part of the Daisy Delight bundle that includes the coordinating stamp set.

Here is a really pretty card I made with the bundle and the coordinating Designer Series paper.

Delightful Daisy bundle

Im trying to write this post from my iPad and find that I’m not having the same ease of doing what I want when I’m on my computer. So I’m going to keep this short.

I hope you like this cute card. I like the blues with the yellows against the white card base.

Have a delightful day!
