Nov 7, 2018 | Big Shot, Birthday, OnStage Event, Stampin' Up! Events |
Did you know that I’m heading to Orlando, Florida for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event this week? And it’s Stampin’ Up!s 30th Birthday! And it’s Mickey’s 90th Birthday! So this week will be all about celebrating – birthday’s, accomplishments, friendships and more. When I go to a Stampin’ Up! event I love to make little gifts to give to my friends. Being part of this company has allowed me the opportunity to make friends that live all over the world. Most of them I might only see every couple of years. With this being Stampin’ Up!s big celebration year there are over 7000 demonstrators coming to Orlando from all over the world. This year I made some little friend gifts with a Mickey birthday theme.

I found Mickey Mouse birthday oreos at the grocery store and decided to create my little gift based on those. I used the 3×6″ Gusseted Cello bags and put two oreos inside and closed it up with tape. The bags are food safe – in case you wondered. Then I made the little tag to go on the front. The three candles are for Stampin’ Up!s 30th birthday. And then I made Mickey out of circle punches. Finished up with the die cut Celebrate.
Supply List
- 3×6″ Gusseted Cello Bags
- 1-1/2″ circle punch
- 1″ circle punch
- Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set

I hope everyone likes the little sweet treat. By the way the oreo filling is birthday cake flavored and they are good – and they smell yummy too.

Nov 5, 2018 | Big Shot, Boxes |
This yummy little treat box was something I made for table favors at the Georgia 2-Day Breast Cancer walk dinner. We walked our 20 miles on Saturday and then that night they served us a buffet dinner. We went in our pajamas so we could go right to bed after wards and then get up early Sunday morning and walk again. This year we had a reserved table for our little team – Trudy’s Peeps – and I wanted to make a table favor for everyone.

Inside each box are three white chocolate covered cashew clusters. They are yummy and I found them in the bulk section at my local sprouts. I bought a big bag so I could fill all the boxes and got a very interesting look from the cashier.
I did use some retired paper from last years catalog to place inside the box. Cut a 2″ by 6″ piece of designer paper and score it at 2 and 4 inches then slip it inside the box as a liner. The Powder Pink Shimmer ribbon is what I used to tie around the box and finished with the Ribbon of Courage stamp set.
Supply List
- Clear Tiny Treat Boxes
- Ribbon of Courage Stamp set
- Basic Jewels Pearls
- Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon
- Powder Pink ink
- Whisper White card stock
- Powder Pink card stock
- Support Ribbon Framelits
- Stitched Labels Framelits
- Big Shot Die Cutting Machine
- Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper (retired)

Thank you for the support in the walk! Here is most of our team at the end of the 30 miles. My friends Molly and Louise are both breast cancer survivors. They are wearing their Survivor shirts.

Nov 1, 2018 | Big Shot, Cards |
This year I participated in the Georgia 2 Day Walk for Breast Cancer. It was held the last weekend of September in downtown Atlanta. I’ve lived in the area for my entire life – not directly in downtown but close enough that I thought I had seen most of Atlanta. But that wasn’t true at all. Participating in the 30 mile walk through downtown gave a whole new perspective and brought be to areas I had never seen before. The first time I walked was in 2016 and two years later some things were the same and others had changed.
The money raised by this walk sponsors programs and research here in Georgia. I have both family and friends that have or are currently battling breast cancer and it is my hope that by doing this walk and raising these funds that someone else won’t have to fight this battle.

To thank everyone that sponsored me in the walk I made a special Thank You card using the Ribbon of Courage stamp set and coordinating dies.

Supply List
- Ribbon of Courage stamp set
- Support Ribbon Framelits
- Stitched Labels Framelits
- Whisper White Note cards & Envelopes
- Blushing Bride card stock
- Blushing Bride ink
- Crumb Cake ink
- Pearl Basic Jewels
- Big Shot Die Cutting machine
I love using Note cards for sending out thank you notes – they are already cut and scored and you just need to decorate the front. And then I stamped on the envelope to make it match.

Oct 29, 2018 | 2018 Holiday Catalog, Halloween, Scrapbook Pages |
I have one final project for you using the Trick or Tweet stamp set. Now that you have all your treats and hopefully you have your costumes ready it’s time to take all your photos on Halloween. And then you’ll need to add them to a scrapbook page!
Today’s project is the scrapbook page that I designed for my October Stamper’s Club meeting. I used the Trick or Tweet stamp set. This is a 12 x 12 page and has spots for 3 photos on it. If my kids were still little I’d have a photo of each one of them in costume on this page. I may need to go dig up some old photos instead.

One little trick on here – it looks like the back has several layers of card stock with a very tiny border. But in reality its a line drawn with the Stampin’ Write marker. I cut out of thin cardboard (I used the pieces that come in the back of the Designer Paper Packs) an 11-1/2″ square. Center the square on my 12″ x 12″ piece of Whisper White card stock and trace around it with the Gorgeous Grape Stampin’ Write Marker. It gives the look of the extra layers without the added card stock.
Supply List
- Trick or Tweet stamp set
- Whisper White 12×12 card stock
- Card stock: Pumpkin Pie, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Basic Black
- Triple Banner Punch
- Starburst Punch
- 2″ Circle Punch
- Memento Black ink
- Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody
- Animal Outing Designer Series Paper
- Animal Friends Thinlits
- Large Letter Framelits
- Big Shot Die Cutting Machine
- Artisan Textures stamp set
- Gorgeous Grape ink
It’s a little hard to see but the Gorgeous Grape strip across the top of the page is stamped with the Artisan Textures stamp set. I didn’t have any patterned paper in that color like I did for the other two strips so I thought I would stamp it instead.
