Today’s card share is a card I made for a friend of my mom’s. She called and wanted a special card that she could send to her sisters. This is what I came up with –
It is a pocket card with an insert that you pull out – in the picture I have one in the pocket and one shown out of the pocket. I used the Garden from the Heart stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Mini Catalog – it is a pretty set. Here is the list of supplies that I used:
- Garden from the Heart stamp set
- Wonderful Favorites stamp set
- Kraft card stock: Kraft, Mellow Moss, Perfect Plum, Whisper White
- Jet Black StazOn ink
- Stampin’ Write Markers: Mellow Moss, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Creamy Carmel
- Linen Thread
- Curly Label Punch
- Scallop Trim Border Punch
- Corner Rounder Punch
- Color Spritzer
- Stamp-a-ma-Jig
- Medium Whisper White Envelope
Spring is coming – the trees are getting little blossoms – I can just see the first white flowers on our Bradford Pear trees – they are pretty but they stink. It has still been fairly cool here so still no bird nests but I have seen some activity around the houses this morning. The Bluebirds have been inside both house #2 and house #3 today. The Chick-a-dees have been hanging around too and I saw a Tufted Titmouse looking inside house #1. So maybe soon they will be busy building nests.
