Do you have the new Simply Scored tool from Stampin’ Up!?  I love mine.

This card today uses the Simply Scored tool to create a frame on the front of the card.

The frame is a subtle scored outline around the center element on the card.  I put the card on the Simply Scored tool and added a scored line 1/2″ from all four sides of the card front.  Inside the rectangle is the focal element – a piece of More Mustard card stock, layered with a piece of Spice Cake Designer Series paper.  I used the Spice Cake Fabric to tie around the front – it is just a 1″ strip of fabric tied in a knot.

To finish it off I used the Gently Falling stamp set – stamp the leaf in More Mustard ink and then the outline of the leaf in Soft Suede ink.  It is stamped on Very Vanilla card stock and then cut out and add to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  There is also a little Jewelry tag punch stamped with Thanks so Much from Tiny Tags and attached with the Vintage Safety Pin to the fabric knot.

The fabric, the designer paper, the stamp set and the Simply Scored are all in the Holiday Mini catalog – and you can order from me any time through my website – www.monika.stampinup.net.

Enjoy this nice fall card on a nice fall day – at least we have been having nice fall days for the last little while.  It’s a busy weekend – tonight I have Stamper’s Club and we are making the Advent Calendar projects.  And tomorrow is the Birmingham Regional Stampin’ Up! Regional conference – I can’t wait.  I’ll be going with two of my downline – Lisa and Travice and a bunch of my demonstrator friends – about 11 of us will be there together.  And wish me luck because I’m doing a Workshop Wow demonstration on stage – and I am super nervous – I hope I don’t shake too much and that everyone can hear me.  I’ll share my projects next week.  If you are a going be sure to say hi.

Have a great day!
