This card uses the Elementary Elegance stamp set that is one of the Free sets you can get during Sale-a-Bration. The inside of the frame is the perfect fit for the Curly Label punch. This card idea is from Shelli – the head of Stampin’ Up! (there is a link to her blog in the side-bar).
First Edition Designer Series Paper, the Beautiful Wings Embosslit (one of my favorite) and some Lucky Limeade Baker’s Twine all finish off this card.
The front panel is cut short and punched with the scallop border punch. The First Edition Designer paper is attached to the front behind the scallop. Here is a little trick that I do so that it is lined up with the back of the card. Put adhesive on the inside of the card front right where the scallops are punched. Lay the First Edition designer paper on the inside of the card back and line it up with the right edge and top and bottom. Now close the front of the card and the adhesive will stick to the designer paper and it will be in exactly the right place.
Busy, busy today and for the weekend.
