December trots on. So fast – we are already one week down. Wasn’t it just December 1st? With time going so fast that just means it won’t be long before my boys are back home. I’m flipping my countdown calendar as the days pass by. Today I’m sharing the next set of cards with you.
Another slide show for you. This project uses the Hello December Project Life Accessory pack for every page. Here are a few details on these pages:
December 7 – Gold Glitter card from the accessory pack
December 8 – Perfect Pines Framelits and the Christmas Greetings Thinlits are used to dress up one of the cards from the Hello December Card Collection – each person had a different card for this page.
December 9 – I used the Holly Jolly Greetings snowflake to create an emboss resist background.
December 10 – I used a cellophane bag and the sequins from the accessory pack to create a shaker pocket.
December 11 – the wooden Snowflake Elements are a simple addition to a stamped background piece
December 12 – quick and easy one of the cards from the card collection and the number sticker from the accessory pack
December 13 – put some Designer Series paper behind a die cut window frame. The gold glitter word COZY is part of the accessory pack
Perhaps I need to go back to my earlier post and add a little more detail – I don’t think I did that when I first posted it. Enjoy your week. I’ll be ending the week with several events – a Wrapping Up the Holiday class on Friday, a team meeting on Saturday and then on Sunday afternoon we will be putting together our Watercolor Wishes card kit that were purchased to help support the Engraved Orphan Ministry.
Have a great week!

Are you in need of a quick card for the Christmas Holidays? I think this card fits that need. Not only is it quick to make but also very beautiful. The Wonderland stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog has an image of some gorgeous evergreen trees. I used the Thick White Card Stock for the card base – stamped directly on the card. For this sample I used gold washi tape and cording but silver would also be beautiful.

This was one of the cards we made at my November Christmas Card Stamp A Stack. For the class I prepped 80 of these and pre-tied almost all the bows for the ladies that came to class. I think that was the best for them – me tying the bows! Now I just need to create some more for me!
If this card looks familiar it’s because it is very similar to the one actually in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog. They used only a portion of the tree image and I used the whole thing. They added the wooden snowflakes which I left off this card because we used them on a different one and I didn’t have enough for both – plus there wasn’t really room when stamping the full length of the trees.

If you want to use silver instead of gold use the Silver Cording Trim and the Everyday Chic Washi Tape.
Thanks for visiting today. I think I need a new little signature graphic. Maybe I can create something new over the holiday break.

I think I got the editing issue resolved – I didn’t do anything but today it was working. I guess it was just one of those days…
Hello December!
I designed this fun project for my girls that came to the Fall 2015 Stamp, Scrap & Create Retreat. It’s a December count down (or count up) calendar. Marking the days of December until Christmas arrives. I used the Hello December Project Life Accessory Pack as the main piece of the project – so each person had their own Accessory Pack to work with and kept everything that we didn’t use for this project. I also used the Hello December Project Life Card Collection – but divided a pack between multiple people. In the card collection there are 3 designs that had 10 cards of each – so everybody got one of those and then the rest I sorted by “type” and divided up equally.
Here is the cover –
I added card stock pieces to create the base of each page. The pages are attached to the frame with book rings. In order to have the punched holes in the same place for every page I created a template piece that I used to mark the holes on each page before punching.
Here are the first few pages – December 1 – December 6.
I’ll share more pages in the coming days.
Thanks for stopping by today.

I’m trying to write a blog post for today and for whatever reason I can’t get my editor to work and edit my photos! Grrrrr….
Maybe it will work later – I haven’t changed anything and it worked for one photo but not for the ones that I need it to.
On another note – it’s December 1st and its snowing on my blog!
I’ll try to get back later once I can get this editor to work.
