I’m here in San Antonio for the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference. We are having a great time. We flew in on Tuesday and checked in to our hotel, after our whole group was here we took a boat tour of the Riverwalk, and then had dinner right on the river – fun! Wednesday we checked in to the Leadership Conference and got the cutest fabric bags made with some new fabric that will be available in the Summer Mini Catalog. Then we had Make&Takes – I was a helper this year – that was fun too. And we all had a surprise waiting for us there – a cute box of gourmet chocolates plus a fabric portfolio that matches our bags with a cute tag signed by Shelli.
After that we went back to the Riverwalk and had lunch right on the river. Then we went to see the Alamo. After that we headed back to the hotel and I got ready to go to the Manager’s Reception. We had some appetizers with an Asian flare and some fun drinks. I got to talk to Shelli, and she signed my Holiday Mini (the one with my picture that I have been carrying around with me to get her autograph – finally got it). Then we went into the theater and saw the Chinese Acrobats – some amazing strength and flexilibity! On our way out we got a new stamp set – a sneak peek from the summer mini – I can’t show it to you yet. And some Stampin’ Up! chop sticks.
Leadership officially will start tomorrow morning with our opening general session. If I have a chance I’ll try to post again.
