On Wednesday on my At Monika’s Place Facebook Page I did a Facebook Live video and shared how to make a couple of cards using the Perennial Birthday stamp set.  I’m posting about one of them today and the other one tomorrow.  I’m also creating project sheets for each one and hope to have those ready tomorrow.  Today I’m leaving for a weekend getaway with my team and there are still a few things to do for that.  One is wait on the UPS man who is delivering a package that I need.  If he doesn’t show up soon I will probably go search the neighborhood for him.  But let’s take a look at today’s card.

I think this is such a beautiful card.  It’s similar to one that Stampin’ Up! shared earlier in the year.  I love the bright colors but also the subtl blue.  This card uses the new Balmy Blue color.  Stamp the Happy Birthday image twice before re-inking it.  To add color to the stamped images on the Shimmery White card stock I used a sponge dauber.  The little flowers are fussy cut – it’s easy to do with the Paper Snips. The final touch is the splatter that I added with a Stampin’ Write marker.
