easter-egg-basket

This is another project that we made at the STARZ meeting on Saturday.  It is a little Easter Basket made from the Stampin’ Up! Scallop Envelope die for the Big Shot.  You need to cut four envelopes and then attach them side by side.  We used the new Egg Hunt Wheel and watercolored it with an Aquapainter.  The ribbon is from the Sale-A-Bration Ribbon Bundle.  And the paper is the Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper also from Sale-A-Bration.  The Designer Paper was also cut with the Scallop Envelope die but only the flaps to add an extra layer and then trimmed along the inside edge of the basket.   The handle is just a piece of card stock with a piece of ribbon attached to it.  These would be cute for Easter – fill with some grass and some eggs or other candy and use for center pieces.  Or maybe leave off the handle and set a flower inside.  I usually have flowers as my table center pieces at Easter and then afterwards I plant them in the back yard.  I have seen a variety of ideas this year that I really like and I’m still trying to decide what I want to do.  I also make invitations each year to invite our family over for lunch and an egg hunt on Easter Sunday.  We normally have about 30 people over that day and always hope that the weather is nice.   I need to work on my invitations so I can get them in the mail.

I’m headed to the craft room to prep for the Game Night class tomorrow and work on projects for my March class on the 20th.

Today is another beautiful day here in Georgia.  But they say the rain and cold will be back by this weekend.  Ryan has a tennis match to play and I’m not sure the weather will be holding out for him though.

Have a wonderful day!
