I have another Easter card for you today. I saw this somewhere on a blog and now can’t find it again. I’ve spent a good long time searching and I have had no luck. So if this looks like your card let me know. I don’t think I changed very much from the original. It’s just been a while since I made it. It was for last month’s Spring Occasions class.
There is not much stamping on this card. It comes together quickly with the Big Shot and punches. The base of the card is So Saffron – and for this on my fold is on the left side. The corners on the right are corner rounded and then I used a white gel pen all the way around the edge to add faux stitching.
The basket is the Baskets & Blooms Die for the Big Shot – I cut one from the Nursery Suite Specialty paper. On the bottom add a strip of Chocolate Chip that has been punched with the scallop border punch. I added Faux stitching with the marker to the basket and some white gel pen details to the strip at the bottom.
The eggs are punched using the wide oval punch – that’s the old name – let me see what it is called now – how about the 2″ x 1-3/8″ Oval Extra-Large punch. Each one was run through an Embossing folder and the Big Shot. The little bunny, which matches the designer paper, is from the stamp set So Cute. Stamp it, color it, punch it, layer it and add to the front of the basket.
I’m off to plant flowers in the yard today. See ya later…..
