3×3 Love Note Swaps

Here are more of the 3×3 Love Note Swaps that I got at convention.  I am planning a class for August – my Hands-On class will feature these mini 3×3 cards.  I’ll have more details on the class soon.  I plan to pick out of the 100+ swaps that I got at convention.

On the ones below I will put the name of the person that made it if I know – I have a couple where the names fell off (they were on post-it notes or slips of paper) and some just didn’t seem to have any info at all.  If one of these is yours and I didn’t have your name please leave me a comment.

Here are the creators for the 1st set shown.

After dinner we all went back to our room at the Shilo

we shared our ideas, swaps and class projects. The two faces in the back are my "Flat Stampers" - Tammy and Cari - they are fellow designers for the UStamp class that couldn't come to convention so I carried them along all week.

at the very end of the night we set the camera to auto and took pictures of the four of us on one of the beds with our laptops - very fun times!

I love going to convention!  You can join me next year July 18 – 21st.  Join my team today for only $99 and get a special Christmas Keepsake Box project kit for free – it’s the last day!  This fall I will have a special stamping day to all get together and make our boxes – it will be so much fun.  Click HERE to go to my website and join now for only $99.

Stamping at the Ronald McDonald House

Right after I got back from convention I went with Jenn, Joyce, Christine, and Nadine to stamp with the kids and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.  I always enjoy going down there and spending time with the families and giving them a fun evening activity.  This month Joyce designed the card using some old Stampin’ Up! stamp sets.

It was a fun card featuring a Lion face and then everyone had their choice of greetings that came from one of this years Sale-A-Bration stamp sets.  Everyone got to do some paper tearing to accent the side of their own card.  Here are a few pictures of the fun evening we had.

we had a busy night with a full table most of the night

Nadine was helping this cute girl with her cards.

These two brothers were practicing their lion ROARS!

If you would like to learn more about the Ronald McDonald house here is a link to the Atlanta site – http://www.armhc.org/aboutus.html We are volunteering at the Peachtree Dunwoody house.  If you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and would like to join us please contact me.  If you don’t live near me contact Stampin’ Up! to find the house near you and a group of demonstrators that you can join.  It is always a joy to go down and stamp with these families!

This month we all laughed as some of the kids were in the room next door dancing away to the WII – they were having a blast.

Thanks for stopping by today!

More Convention Pictures

I didn’t want there to be too many pictures in yesterdays post so I saved some for a post for today…. here you go…

The On Stage walks are something that I have watched for the past 5 conventions that I have attended.  And this year for the first time I knew I would get to walk on stage – it was for my 5 year anniversary with Stampin’ Up! – this was the one I knew I would get.  Fortunately I got to walk two other times for awards that I earned – I think I already showed those while I was at convention – and then one added walk that started this year was a recruiters walk – for everyone that had recruited at least one person this year.

And here are some of the product displays….

Berry Blossoms Product Suite Display

Big Top Product Suite display

Cindy and I sitting in front of one of the displays for a picture - we started a trend...

paper flowers - is that a sneak peek of something to come in the future?

Party Animal Simply Scrappin' Kit display

Here is one more picture with my friend Carrie from Canada –

Here I am with Carrie - the Artistic Avenger!

Today is scrapbook day – I have a morning and evening class and we are making two 2-page layouts today.

Thanks for checking in with me today – have a good weekend!

Share What You Love & Grow

The theme for the Stampin’ Up! convention this year was GROW.

The theme was everywhere – on the main stage, throughout the convention center, in our classes, in the gathering place, memento mall, and the product showcase.   I love the theme this year.  I want my business to grow, my team to grow and my circle of friends to grow!  Let’s grow, grow, grow.

I wanted to share some more pictures of convention with you – hopefully I’m not repeating myself…..

One of the best parts about convention is meeting new friends, seeing friends in person that you have only “talked to” by using the computer or the phone, and seeing old friends that live so far away.

Mindy, Michele, Dawn, Patty, Monika, Cindy

Here I am with Connie & Mary from Create with Connie & Mary classes

Our gang at lunch on the last day - Linda, Cindy, Brenda, Tammy and Carol joined us

Another favorite thing to do is visit the Stampin’ Up! Corporate Office in Riverton, Utah – we get to tour the Legacy Room which is full of more displays, see the warehouse where the orders are picked, go through the idea room, Demonstrator Support and visit the Rock.

Stampin' Up! Home Office

During convention we get a mixture on Main Stage presentations and then smaller group classes.  This year we had to divide and conquer in the the smaller classes – there were more offered than what we could fit into our schedules.  Here are some of the fun presentations from main stage –

We had a visit from Santa while Shannon West was presenting.

The Stampin' Up! band performed for us on Saturday!

Willy Wonka and his kids sang for us too!

And there was lots more fun on main stage!  I think I have way too many pictures to share.  Here is one more from Product Park (I’ll have more another day) –

Starter Kit Options

It’s the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit and in July you can get a special Mini Kit for $99 plus a bonus Christmas Keepsake Box project – but HURRY – time is running out.  You can sign up online through my website until Sunday night if you want this special price and project kit. Plus I’m going to have a special stamping day for us all to get together and make this box.  Visit my website here – www.monika.stampinup.net – and click on JOIN THE FUN to learn more.  Or email me and I’ll answer any questions that you have.

Oh – one more last picture for today –

Do you know what that is?  It is the new Holiday Mini catalog that starts in September.  And do you know why I am so excited about it?

Well not only are there some really great new products inside but do you see that little picture in the corner – that is ME!  Yes I am in the mini catalog!  This is the US version.  I think I heard that the Canadian version has someone else in theirs – I didn’t get to see it though so I don’t know who it is.   I even got mine autographed by Shelli – ok well not really – I have a fake autograph from one of her daughters – I didn’t get in line fast enough to actually see Shelli this year.  Shelli is the owner of Stampin’ Up! and a very popular lady.  I have had the pleasure of meeting her several other times though and she is a really nice person.

Ok enough from me today.  Thanks for stopping by!
