I wanted to share some pictures from our visit this week to the Ronald McDonald House for some stamping time. We had kids and moms plus some help from one of the dads and the volunteer coordinator at the house. It was a fun night and everyone that participated enjoyed themselves. Jenn designed the card that everyone made – here it is –
The volunteer demonstrators take turns designing the card and bringing the supplies. Some of the guests follow the card exactly while others get creative.
Thank you to everyone that came and helped – Jenn, Leishman, Bryan, Suzi and myself. It was a nice escape for the guests at the house even if it wasn’t for very long.

I’m excited to be a Guest blogger on the MDS Blog Hop for the month of April!! Thank you to the design team for letting me join you all this month. I have a spring themed page to share today that features a picture of my parents and I from a recent trip to Gibbs Gardens. It happened to be the Daffodil Festival and there were millions of blooming daffodils while we were there. I had so many pictures I could have used on this page but really wanted to use the one with my parents. I’ll just have to make a companion page to feature all the beautiful flowers.
This layout was actually from a traditional scrapbook page that I had used in my regular scrapbook class recently. I loved the combination of the Daffodil Delight and the Chocolate Chip in real life and thought I could translate it to My Digital Studio. I made a few changes and one of the things that is so super easy in MDS that I don’t find easy in real life is adding the STITCHING! Just a few clicks and it looks like I have real sewing on my page and I didn’t even get out a sewing machine.

I don’t think I’ve shared these All Dressed Up Pop-Up cards on my blog yet. During the month of March I think almost every class I had we made one of these or a variation of it. There are tons of possibilities with the pop-up die and the dresses. These are just a couple of variations that I created.
Notice the few differences on the fronts and the insides of these. Not much changed but a little bit.
And the side view so you can see what the pop-up piece looks like.
Tonight I’ll be going to the Ronald McDonald house for some stamping with the guests that are staying there. It should be fun. Come back for a visit tomorrow – I have something new going on this month.

Every other month I have a Team meeting for my downline, my sidelines, and any other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators in the area that need a group to be part of. I love this time together – we share not only business topics from Stampin’ Up! but creative ideas. It is a fun casual time where we can come together and do what we love. One of the optional things we do is have a swap – at the last meeting the swap theme was to take an idea from Pinterest or a crafting magazine or website and recreated with all Stampin’ Up! materials. It was really fun to see what everyone made. For some I have their inspiration but for some I don’t. And hopefully I have the correct name on each one too. Here we go.

I wanted to give you a quick update on the Bluebirds – the babies are here!! They were born Saturday morning (that’s my best guess – since on Friday there were still eggs in the nest). And today I was able to see all 5 hungry little mouths! Mom and dad are busy bringing them food – so while they were away I peeked in to get a photo.
