Howl-o-ween Treat Bags

At Stampin’ Up! events one of the best parts aside from seeing all our friends and making new ones is the ideas that are shared.  This idea was one that was shown on stage this year at convention.  I came home and tried this idea and it is super easy – you could whip up a whole stack of these in no time using some great new products from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog.

  • Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set & Boo to You Framelits bundle (I LOVE THE BUNDLES!)
  • Spider Web Doilies
  • Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper
  • Basic Black Archival Ink

You’ll also want the Sketched Dots bags and ink from the regular catalog.  I used Crushed Curry and Tangelo Twist ink.

To create the bag cut a mask from the cardboard backing from the Designer Paper so that you can cover a section of the bag.  Use your ink pad to pull ink across the bag, buff off the excess with a tissue.  Move the mask and do the next color.

Stamp and cut your images and then decorate the bag.  Fill with something yummy!
